The magic touch for the master bus!
The best tool on the master, simply the best tape emulation to give the final touch.

my go to
When I want to compress with the 'SSL' style, it's my go-to! I really like the sound of this plugin and the punch it brings to the mix. The 'sidechain' function is also essential! By adjusting this setting, you can really achieve compression that's even more precise and better suited for each mixes. I highly recommend this plugin!

Excellent SSL Channel Strip
For me, this is probably the best-sounding SSL Channel Strip on the market right now. When I want to EQ a vocal, it's my go-to. My only regret is not being able to use it on every track because I don’t have enough DSP to handle it. Such a shame. But if I could, I’d probably put it everywhere.

My favorite Distressor
This is my favorite 'Distressor' plugin! I use it in all my mixes !
I really like using this plugin on snares or in parallel on drums. I also love using it in parallel on the lead vocal when I want a sound that's a bit more transparent than the 1176, for example.

Clean Character
Nice clean control of the frequencies without too much coloration yet just the right amount of sweetness with out saturating. Very cool EQ

Nice 'n Fat
This gives jujst enough texture and full-bodyness to my flamenco guitar sound and a smooth cushion on the highs. Beautiful!

From a transient point of view ;-) - the best in my opinion
I have many softw. emulations of G BUS Comp including SSL's one, so I was very eager to check out the native demo from UAD and I am delighted.
I played with the original HW on a large console, but I don't have it. I have one from another company, with digital recall.
I always test compressor plugins on raw acoustic drums recordings, because then you can hear whether the compressor really destroys transients or not.
This one is supposedly quite an old plug-in, but it is gluey and punchy as hell on Mix-Bus and I consider it the best in this (SSL Bus-comp) role at the moment ITB, definitely.
Additionally - it barely touches the CPU.

Saturates the vocals and adds even more "FAT" :) Perfect
I have an analog LA-610 MK2 on board, and it is always great for recording vocals and other instruments. But this combination in digital format for PC is a masterpiece from UA. When YA makes its analog devices into emulation "plugins" with a similar interface - it's TOP! Thanks UA!

Very realistic- It sounds sweet with everything
I am an Organist/Guitarist and I actually own a real Leslie. But of course you need a good sounding Room and several Microphones to capture it's magic, so I was looking for an alternative that is easier to set up, and most importantly, that can be played quietly with Headphones.
The moment I tried the Demo I was completely immersed. The mechanical Noise is spot on and I actually turned around to hear if my actual Leslie wasn't spinning in it's corner. A big plus for me is that it doesn't have a complicated Interface. Many Plugins of that sort let you change the position/angle and whatever of the microphones, as well as 1000s of parameters and I always end up tweaking myself to death. With this one, there are several distinctive presets to choose from, and that's it. Enough variety for different situations, but it's not overdone. And just like the real deal, it sounds good with EVERYTHING. Grand Piano, Rhodes, Mellotron, Guitar, Bass, you name it.
My only criticism is the price. I find the regular price a bit steep to be honest. But as there are several sales over the year, one can grab it at a discounted price anyway.
I strongly recommend it- especially for Hardware Guys who don't want to tweak endlessly.

Not for Apollo Unisson but no latency issue using Cubase
You may or may not like the sound of this plug-in, test it to check, and it would have been great if it had been compatible with Unisson but in any case, as far as latency is concerned, I play with this plug-in in Live without any latency with Cubase 13 or 14. Of course, the same applies to Lion and Ruby. And it works really well.

Sounds like there’s so much potential. Pleased I purchased it.
Put it on a track and it just makes it better. The metal on the drum kit really shines. Anyone worried about the CPU usage I have 8 cores M1 chip 32RAM and none of them were over 25% when I used 5 inserts of the plugin.
Superb.
