Amazing, game-changing plugin
Awesome, from practicing guitar for it feeling more natural, to busing the drums or even giving some air to the whole mix, very versatile and amazing sounding plugin

1 shot 1 kill
It's an SSL4000 E what needs to be said. I use it mainly for recording vocals but have found out it sounds incredible on guitar, bass and drums too. Highly recommend.

Excellent sounding reverb
This is one of those things I didn't think I needed because I have several other reverbs, until I used it. Now it's my 1st choice when I need reverb. Try the demo and see what I mean.

How to avoid a hernia
Keyboard player I once played with get a hernia moving his Hammond B3 to a gig. At the time he could not get the sound he wanted without the actual organ. This sounds so much like the real thing, it is uncanny. Looking forward to exploring all the options. Great presets.

Helps get mixes over the finish line
Just started to use on previously recorded live tracks. The button to disable extensions in LUNA highlights how much of a difference adding the Studer® makes. Everything just sounds better. Very impressed as I play around with the various settings.

HAPPY OWNER!!!
Although I’ve worked with an original hardware version of this compressor, this plugin definitely has a “vintage” sound/vibe. In my opinion, tone wise and behavior/response wise, it’s much better than the other plugin versions of the same emulation. The added features are also a great bonus.

AWESOME!!!
This is the BEST sounding channel strip plugin I currently own (and I own quite a few, many of which are considered to be TOP NOTCH). Also, you’re getting two plugins for the price of one. It’s an absolute no brainer.

Another Excellent Chorus
I use the UA Brigade Chorus quite a bit, for bass and various guitars. The Studio D Chorus is very complementary, having quite different sounds. Great for rhythm guitar. The presets are excellent. Its a great addition to the toolbox.

Great Tool
I recently purchased Topline and immediately put it to work. I’m still learning it, but it is very intuitive and user friendly. I love it!

All in one
The Vocal Suite is a game changer for me, but i wish it would be a DSP version so I could use more of individual plugins simultaneously.

Perfection for your mix
I really like this mastering compressor, Capitol, and uad has made a very good plug-in

Perfect for monitoring vocals on recording
It saves me time in the reference mix when recording a vocalist, I just place it in the monitoring send with a couple of clicks in Deess, Comp, Delay/Reverb and that's it so that when recording the vocalist feels more comfortable with what he hears through the headphones.

Exactly what it needs to be
This is a plug-and-play compressor. Bass, kick, anything you could think of. It does its job exceedingly well. Easily the best compressor I have if I don't want to use a gentle one or a FET.

Requires a bit of patience- but it delivers!
I used up most of the trial period before I decided that I want to buy it. In my Experience, it takes some time getting used to it.
The Plugin adds a very good sounding Room reverb, combined with the Impulse response of several classic Microphone set- ups.
I have used it on a close- miced Guitar Cab (Single Sennheiser E906 few cms from the grille), and that is one of the instances where it works really well.
However, certain samplers, for example have a lot of processing built into the samples themselves.
Sound City Studios adds a lot of character, so it is best to start off with a very dry and unprocessed signal. Close- miced sources work the best, and if there is the possibility to eliminate all kinds of reflections and colorations during the recording process, The plug- in can work it's magic.
The inbuild Impulse Responses of a Greenback- Loaded 4x12 and an AC30 Cabinet are among the best I have tried.
As others have stated, CPU usage is quite high.

Big difference in my drums and acoustic guitars.
This is my first UAD plugin. I run a small commercial studio in Hickory NC. This plugin really helps with my drums. My drum room is tightly mic'd and small. I mainly use drum replacement and reverb/eq. This has really opened up my drum recordings.
