naprostá spokojenost . Nic lepšího mezi pluginama co se týče kompresoru neexistuje.

The best of the best
Why did avoid UAD for so long? I guess I was using other interfaces and heard they UAD stuff would eat your processor without an external DSP chassis. Stupid mistake on my part because these emulations are incredible. They’re easy to tweak and very inspiring sonically. I have many 1176 emulations and use rack units all the time. UAD versions are the very best I’ve used.

I was wrong…
I have used other interfaces over the years so I didn’t want to get caught in the UAD ecosphere of expensive, CPU intensive plugins where I would then be forced to get a DSP chassis. I took the plunge on the native versions and I’m kicking myself for my poor judgment. They all sound incredible. A true step up from the other emulations of vintage gear I can now easily see why everyone gravitates towards UAD. Call me Davy Jones cuz I’m a believer.

The best
This is the best rotary Leslie, I’ve ever heard… Without having to carry it around wow !

Really like it
I've used a variety of piano's from Native Instruments. I like their Noir, but I am not a fan of their plugin interface (Kontact). I thought I would give Ravel a try (got a good sale on it). I am really happy with it. I find myself using it more now than native instruments.

Works
I've tried a variety of plugins from different manufacturers. Never been impressed. But this one really does work and does what it is suppose too. I am so impressed, that I plan to get more UAD plugins, once they go on a good sale.

Magnificent even after all those years
I got the LA-2A quite recently in the native version. After many years of listening to very positive opinions, I could finally see if the LA2A is really that good and if it can beat the current competition. r.
I immediately liked LA2A when I tried it on synthesizers, but the real magic was when I put it on a piano (sample library). Suddenly the piano sounded "like a record" and not like a sample library anymore. Compressor filled the space like butter. Something I have not experienced with any other emulation of this equipment. I've never worked with the original hardware unit but there's something special about this plugin that I've always missed when working ITB.
The description of the characteristics of the three plug-ins in the Manual is very useful and makes it easier to choose the right model for the instrument.
LA2A exceeded my expectations. There's something special that other LA2A emulations are missing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants not only an emulation of LA2A but a great-sounding compressor.

Volt 2
Great hardware. Dynamic and clear sound. Love it.

This is a very good emulation.
This gives you a very valid and convincing Leslie sound. It beats all of the other rotary FX that I've tried. I've used it on vocals, guitars and other things, you can even just use the amp or the noise. It's character is amazing. If you love real, acoustic instruments, you'll love this.
I work on many different systems on big projects, always bringing a Twin or a Satellite, sometimes leaving me short in DSP. This has pushed me towards alternatives of competitors, just for native usability. Even when I'd prefer the UA plug-ins. Who needs external DSP? I need more native plug-ins. Native (and/or Unison) is the way to go.

Fabulous!
Been waiting for this since they introduced the Waterfall. I like to run it in a parallel bus in Luna for guitars for just the right amount of warble...

Keine Bewertung, da ich es nicht nutzen kann.
Because it was under UAD Plugins, where I all my plugins ordered, I ordered it, but over read, that is only usable for Luna. Luna may be a very good DAW, but I use an other DAW and will not change.

Give me that Leslie grind!
Sounds fantastic. Stereo version stays present in the mix. Nice to be able to change mics for different flavors. I'm partial to the Coles ribbon and tube 67. Very warm, chewy vintage sound, great on synth bass and guitar. Would be nice to have more control over mic position rather than the 3 positions available, particularly variable distance.
No problem using it live natively at 96k, 128 sample buffer as far as latency. So I do not miss UAD version. And LUNA has added the small buffer option, so can even be used live as native in LUNA.
As for price, I look at the big picture. Luna was completely unexpected and remains free. I feel like any plugins I purchase also go to LUNA development. To get the Waterfall AND Luna native compatibility on the same day, for $99....heck yes, take my money.
Keep it up UA!!!

Magnifico
E' il compressore che utilizzo di piu', non fa rimpiangere l'HW!

Fantastic Rotary plug!
I am in love with this kind of effect in general, that's why I own most of the plugin solutions and I think am very picky about them! So I actually was never really 100% happy with the results I got from the ones I had. Nothing so far could beat my Neo Vent 2 pedal (which models another version of that rotary speaker).
So I was super happy to see this coming up, tried it and love it! As it is often the case, everyone needs to decide for her-/himself if one likes the sound, and I definitely think this one provides at least what I expected!
A DSP version might be a nice addition, so I could also use it with my Apollo x more seamlessly but actually I very much appreciate UAD moving towards the native realm, making use of what is (and will be) available there.

A "must have" Instrument
What a joy this is to hear on my tracks. It's so close to the real thing and soooo much more convenient to use.
My only gripe is that the Leslie cannot be instanced as a plugin by itself.
