Expensive, but worth it
Picked this up to replace my Focusrite Liquid 56, expansion ability is great and flawless connection, Unison is Worth it, much better than the Liquid channels. After install everything just worked. People mentioned that the unison pre's are flat but they are designed to emulate and need to be transparent. Literally the whole point..
Only gripe is the hardware is incredibly expensive and so are the plugins. I quickly run out of DSP, but you can get around this easy enough.

A must have
What this did on my live pre recorded drums was insane! Not only does it warm it up it also brought some clarity. I’ve used it on instruments and vocals and it never lets me down.

This one is a dream
In combination with the Brigade Chorus, i can easily recreate all of my favorite sounds from the 80s. You can create so much depth to your guitars.

80s are calling
Nails the 80s chorus perfectly. Simple tool with big impact and only a handful of toogle options - plain and simple.

It Plates!
Not like what’s in your kitchen sink. I’m talking lush, long, thick, gooey plate reverb, baby! Sweet on just about everything I’ve tried it on.

Super lush.... Love all the reverbs from UA!!

Good as you can get with digital.
I’ve been tracking exclusively on a 2” ampex mm1100 machine for the last 4 years and this plug in has helped de-stabilize my “tape or die” mentality.
It sounds great. Hard to tell if it’s tape or not, but more importantly, brings some of the lushness I associate with tape to the digital stage.
Especially love it on drums and bass.

Excellent choice
I own already some channel strips from UAD, and this is just one of the best. Underrated I must say. Excellent choice!!

I wish I had gotten this sooner
The first thought I had when I started using this EQ in my mixes was about how much time I had been wasting with other compressors. Keeps it simple and not too harsh.
R. Pressman
Great, simple EQs
Classic Pultec tone and simple controls. Has been great for my workflow.

Oxide for the win!!!
I started out recording to tape in the studios at school. Over the years I have used the many tape-like saturation plugins and this tape emulation just feels right! It smooths out the vocals, it adds a bump to the bass at 15 ips! It sounds very familiar to the analogue workflow and characteristics that I started on. It's become a staple on every mix in some form.
