hot sound
much more colored than the old UAD LA2A, thoose ones bring warmth, vibe, lively harmonic saturation. I usually use sonnox limiter and inflator, wich are nice for analog like saturation, but the new LA2A collection make things more irregular and more charming I think.. just used them on vocals, guitars(electric and acoustic) and bass, following the advices (gray or old one for vocals, silver for guitars). Sounds really get in front of the mix with thoose ones.

Lexicon 224 same as 20 years ago the real thing
I have the real Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb 20 years ago inside my recording studio ( Sound Station, in Hong Kong ), need to cost me about US$10000 at that time, now I can have the real sounds and effects and the setting is almost as the real Lexicon 224 as before but with only a fraction of the cost which I have paid before and of course the plug in bring back so many memories about the Lexicon 224 I used to have.

1176 Classic limiter Plug-in collection
Being a home studio and having access to this equipment is great makes getting great recordings easier. Presets by Pros give you a good starting point to dial in your sound .Have tried on vox to guitar and make everything sound fantastic another great Plug-in

crazy
This plugin works like no plugin I have ever used.
I'm putting silver version on a dialgue group and it just brings all the vocals to a level I want and you don't hear it's there.
Love it.
Thanks

Old and new
Having used a couple of real ones in the late 80' and in the 90' , I must admit that I'm very impressed....
Even if I can not compare these plugs with the old one directlys, by memory they are pretty close, and if I compare to my new La2 they are even close. Also if not equal, what it's important to me it's they have they own nature and they do the job really in a fantastic way , a la2 way :).....,

One of the best tape recorder plugins
Together with Ampex ATR-102 its "killer" stuff for your digital studio. I wanted to buy real tape recorder for my studio, but size and electric consumption were main reasons why i wasnt sure to buy it. Ive read somewhere on net, that Universal Audio has very good tape plugins. Basically Studer and Ampex are the main reason why i have purchased UAD2 Satellite Duo. Im absolutely very satisfied with all products. Studer for recording and Ampex for mastering. Combination of these product definitely improved my production.

Teletronik Classic Collection
The new LA-2A Classic Leveler Collection is a top emulation. And, the Teletronix LA-2 sounds just like my classic design, very beast qualuty, which has always been my "go to" for voices e instrument. I like plug-in and hardware!

Soldi spesi bene
Praticamente identico all'originale, come sempre universal audio si distingue per prestazioni e prezzo
Consiglio upgrade per fare il salto di qualitá

Great!
Does it sound exactly like the real thing? No. Does is have the same impact on your music? Yup. It just works. I love reverb, but hate reverb plugs. I don't hate this one. I also spent a few hours with the plate settings trying to mimic the emt 140. I can get pretty darn close. Good job UA.

Great but....
I wanted to love them more. I have a lot of experience with the real thing, and after reading some of the glowing reviews on these, I was expecting to be blown away. That's not to say that they aren't some of the best comp plugs I have, but it's not close to my real 1176 like some say. There is something about the grit and depth that I get on a real one that this just one falls slightly short of. Like I said, it's still an amazing plugin that I use all the time, but I can't give it 5 stars.

Love These
These were actually not too high on my list of plugins to purchase, and then I tried them! I use these on almost every track, either as a sweetener, or a full out leveler. The vintage LA-2 is probably my favorite. They can be very transparent, or really colorful. Highly recommended.

PRO WITH EASE
If you are really serious about making something sound good and with ease you need this bundle. It really gives life to a vocal!!

Not my go-to reverb, but indispensable
Anyone growing up listening to Eno, Lanois, U2 et al will probably recognize the wonderful sounds coming out of this plugin. I still can't say that I use this for vocals and particularly drums, because it sounds a bit 'dated' to my ears. But for atmospheric guitar work it's unlike any other reverb I've ever used. So lush yet sits so right in the mix.

As close as it gets
I've had three top engineers come in and tell me that they could not tell the difference between the hardare and this plugin. I'd say that's as close as it gets!

Nice indeed - don't over do though!
A very nice plug in for sure...what a luxury recording with this!..but don''t over do it though...can muddy a mix if you recorded with it and them buss it on the master too, that's what I found with the music I had recorded, you might not find the same results though......probably best to used the Studer for that...had to try though!..very excellent product..so much fun!

Excellent Plug-in!
I've been using this plug-in for a few weeks now and I've been really impressed with its sound and versatility, especially in its ability to control the fundamental texture (harmonic content) of a track. This to me is what sets it apart from any other mixing tool I've used. Being able to change tape formulas, tape speeds, and saturation characteristics gives me endless possibilities for getting the texture of a track to sit just right before I even touch a compressor or EQ.
Another characteristic of this plug-in is its ability to soften the sharp edges of a track's transients, making multiple sources you put this on seem to naturally blend together and not "fight". The ease and consistency at which it achieves this makes this invaluable.
