Dead on Album sound!
Amazing. I have A LOT of compressors that claim to do that "master bus magic" but this one is the one IO have been searching for. The lower ratio and just a bit of needle movement is sonic bliss! Dan Swanö/Unisound

This one is really good
Was surprised by this one it added that last professional hi end compression on the mix buss but can also thicken up individual sounds.

Fantastic warm reverb and so easy to use!

It's not only one of the best sounding compressors
It's also the most user friendly, which is great for those of us who is first and foremost musicians, but at the same time want a fast and easy way to get the best sound without knowing much of the world of engineering

Love it
Thick and warm, lush sounding, completely indulgent purchase, I got pedals, but the presence of this is just great.

Not the best but still good
Very obvious effect, EQ curves you cannot bypass, and unlinked In and out controls, but great sound for obvious tape effects.

Very nice
Being new to this, I started with presets which are great and of course easily tweakable. Really adds warmth and power to the recording.

Nice.
The API Vision Channel Strip just makes a lot of things sound better to my ears, with minimal effort. It's a great way to use the Unison technology (especially while recording vocals), and it also has very effective and sonically pleasing effects when used while mixing. What's not to like? (Price and Resource-hogging are the negatives I had read about before demoing Channel Strips, but I pretty much consider that the negative of any of these plugins.)
It has quickly become sort of the "Swiss Army Knife" of my collection of UAD plugins. If I really don't like the way something sounds, I'm confident that I can quickly make it sound better with this plugin. And instead of always piecing together a preamp, an eq, a compressor and more trying to emulate the signal chain of a great studio board for recording, I now start with this as the foundation.

Great simple tape emulator
This is a great simple tape emulator. It is much more simple to use than the Ampex or Studer. Only a few controls and sounds great when you turn it on.

Fabulous Analogue Character
Such a great tool to add that warm tape distortion that I grew up with. Fantastic on guitars, the drum bus or even on the overall mix bus.

No, you can't do this with something else
I tried. For (demo) weeks I tried to match the subtlety and depth of this plugin on an acoustic guitar and a background vocal, using fabfilter, waves, and native logic plugs. The other plugs sounded good but this did what I needed to in the mix; added a little animation and width without sounding like "chorus".

I Love It
I've been EQing my master channel with this, and it's amazing. It just opens everything up. Really easy to use as well.

works all over the place
fantastic for subtle color, or to crush your sounds into lo-fi oblivion. highly recommended.
