nice highend
nice highend but it is difficult to use. when we miss use it, we can easily add excessive high. but if we understand exactly what oxide do, it can give rich bright tone as well !

Smooth Out
I love the LA-2A to smooth out my Vocal's!!

Mastering
I like The Studer to get the right Saturation on my Master Track. It opens the Mix and give me some nice push.

All time classic
The UAD 1176 is one of the plugins, that i use on every Vocal bus!

Really easy to use
Set the input to either soft or in the red & output gain to match and there you go, nice tape saturation (or at least what I imagine it would sound like in real life...).
Not sure if it's anything like the real thing, but it sure sounds good on my bass & stereo drums so I'll take it

Is it witchcraft?!
Coming from tape only era I was sceptical about anything digital. How you have successfully recreated this fabulous machine in a digital format is beyond me.
Without a doubt the best plug in. Subtle. Smooth. Which is how I prefer to hear recorded sounds. I use it on everything. Makes me feel like it's 1978 again.
Thanks UAD!

Great Tape Delay
This Plugin is the best you can buy for tape emulations.

Industrial standard
Classic Leveler Collection I am able to achieve what I have not been able to achieve with other compressors before. I like use these compressors in my mixes and master track too. The sound quality of all 3 is just amazing!

Nice but no All-in-one? Pro plugin
Nice but no All-in-one Pro plugin like previously?
Also - I don't seem to have a new MEQ? Maybe the installer fucked up but I only seem to have the legacy MEQ.

Simply amazing
It just adds so much to any instrument, I find myself using it on almost anything. Just dial the noise/hiss down a little so it won't add up that much and crank that input up to get all that tape goodness into your recordings! Absolutely a must have.

Loving it's sound
The head bump at 15 IPS has a fantastic sound with it's own character that's different than the other UAD tape sims. Love recording with this on drums and vocals. It makes recording in the digital format that much sweeter.

Sick on guitars
I play guitar and record guitarists daily, and this thing is a swiss army knife in the studio. Sounds huuuuge!!! I love the sound and dimensions it gives acoustic instruments.

Awesome Channel Strip!
A/B tested the API Vision channel strip against my own API 235 and 550b and was simply blown away. UA nailed it, in my opinion. Unison-enabled gain staging and dynamic capabilities won me over - I was immediately convinced I had been wasting studio space & money owning (and servicing) the hardware units -- sold them both that week, bought the API Vision channel strip (w. some lunch money left over) and never looked back. Happier than ever with my audio and the engineering flexibility.
Noise gate + compressor/limiter + EQ sections provide everything I need for a killer instrument tone and sounds great on vocals.
Highly recommend folks demo this plug-in. Cheers.

It must be a very good plug-in.
I use this plug-in every time I mix it, and I feel that it is a plug-in that should never be missed.

This is the vintage plate reverb sound that I have been searching for 17 years for!!!
I own all of the UAD EMT Reverbs and the DreamVerb. I owned a Bricasti. Soundtoys. I've owned lots of reverb and delay pedals from Roland, Eventide, Sony and Boss. Despite the love that these products get, even the old UAD verbs, I never fell in love with any, except for the Echoboy, which has been getting heavy use, and the Earthquaker Dispatch Master, which is outstanding pedal for guitar. UAD's Pure Plate Reverb is, in short, AMAZING. This is the one that I have been waiting for. It sounds like real plate verb, or something very close to it. It nails that mid-60s Decca / Abbey Road / Pye verb and is versatile. This sucker already saved one of my songs and I imagine it will be used on most of my sessions from here on out. Great!
