Such a great classic!!!
I've been in studio's across the world recording in many different styles. I've always paid close attention to what was used on my bass and a lot of times it was an LA2A... Not always the same version but definitely always getting a great tone and sound! I just recently bought this collection at a fraction of the cost of one real unit! Now I'm enjoying the same kind of variety and quality of sound I've loved in all these years of recording!

A classic you need to have
When I was an audio engineering student I had the chance to use the hardware. Out of the many software solution that try to emulate that, I think UAD's 224 is the best. That's a studio classic you can't afford to miss. Moreover, it's also available in Spark using native processing. What's not to love about the 224!

Great Bus compressor
Amazing compressor especially on the drum bus. The ability to dial in a mix percentage and remove the low and from the side chain is a big plus to creat big and impressive sound. Love it and highly recommend!

This is a great emulation!
I love this equalizer. It works very softly and musically.
But I do not like that in the full version of the plugin there is no combined version of EQP-1A and MEQ-5, as is done in the Legacy version. This causes some inconvenience when mixing.
Regardless, I still love this plugin and it's my TOP 1 EQ!

For vocals, the Neve Preamp is light enough!
Fortunately, this is a native plugin, so you can record, while monitoring through RealVerb and then slap Hitsville on in your DAW. Or now, freeze the bus, in Luna.
I'm a bit surprised they decided to release this as a native plugin over Ocean Ways, which to me, is more of a neutral choice over the Motown style. But is a new plugin and maybe they will "jailbreak" the rest in a near future. Fingers crossed! :)

Excellent Plugin!
I can't judge whether this software delivers the same results as the hardware. The plugin makes it possible to add exactly the amount of saturation and coloration you prefer to the recordings. The coloration can be subtle or very superficial. The plugin opens up a variety of design options. It is to be applied to single tracks as well as to a stereo sum. It refines the recordings.

Got That Motown Sound
This reverb is simply incredible. Having been a big fan of the Motown sound, I always wondered why no company had made a reverb of the Motown chambers and then Universal Audio came around and absolutely crushed it. I’ve been to the Motown Studios and have experienced their chambers firsthand and can verify that this plugin sounds exactly like the real thing. It’s got all the magic and vibe. This plugin is definitely going to be a staple in my sessions. And you can use it for so many different styles of music as well.

Great on Bass!
I own pretty much all the Eq Hardware emulations and I love them all. So I never thought I would need this, until I put some bass through it....omg, it's certainly a must-have tool in your arsenal. The choice of frequencies is spot-on! Great job UA!

The Best
I never thought I'd need this plugin since I own both the Capitol Chambers and the Ocean Way Studios one, until I demoed it....it sounds absolutely incredible, but you do need to pay the price for it, since it's extremely heavy on DSP. Still worth it, though.

Amazing Plug-In
The Studer has elevated my mixes on a whole new level. I use it on a drum bus and the tape saturation I get through it is unmatched. It will be on my drum bus for the rest of my career, and easily is one of the greatest purchases I’ve made in years (and have purchased countless plug-ins). It’s a very versatile plug-in and can be used on pretty much everything!

Excellent reverb
Excellent reverb. Realistic sounding space, compared to artificial boomy sounding reverbs like Capitol chambers, reverb with no tail like Oceanway.

A must have for your music
Simply blown away with the amount of warmth it gives to your drums, vocals and any other element. Great bias, LF & HF filters to adjust to your liking. Would recommend!

Hitsville EQ ok but not special
Eq is okay but uses much CPU on a new studio Mac, quality is not so well like dangerous bax and Manley
Hitsville is a normal eq that UA describes as special but it is not special!!!!
But expensive!
And you will only get useless 20 year old plugins from UA if you buy Apollo twin or Apollo x6
The great surprise is that UA tells you you can choose up to 2000dollar plugins and if you register the x6 you get a choice of unusable plugins that are 20 years old and useless in this times !
And UA is to stingy to give you polymax or good plugins!!!
A joke and now they will earn nothing from me in future!
