Love it
Always loved LA-3a on Acoustic Guitars. UAD version brings me that same feel.
Just wish they revamp the UI. Too little for modern monitor res.

Sounds really great! Looks average.
Love the sound of this plugin. I use it all the time or acoustic drums and electric guitars.
However, the plugin window is really small. I have no idea why the design was so small, but it can be difficult to see exact settings. Not the sexiest looking plug-in out there. Lets do a re-design!

The plug is awsome. Clean and easy to get to the point. I was sceptical at first because it’s not the true cLassic DD but there’s no real audible difference in my opinion.

Fall In Love On A LARC
In the 80s and 90s, nearly every room had a 224 or the 224XL, a LARC on the console waiting for commands.
It is a sound that becomes part of your spirit, a must have for us old folks.
The world has heard the Lexicon 224 on countless hits, for good reason...
The tail is dense, rich, beautiful, many a signature sound, including "Inverse Room".
When working in these genres, it is nice to have affordable access to a few of these.

it sounds just like I remember
I didn't do a side by side comparison, but it sounds exactly as I remember the hardware unit sounding back in the day. Just like the original, it's a nice problem solver when trying to place something in a mix. For me it's a UAD "must have".

Website samples don't do this plug-in justice
I have the original Boss CE-1 box, which is a beautiful sounding chorus. I own the plug-in UA did of this when it was still called the Boss CE-1. That sounds very close to my box. I have to admit that I haven't heard in detail the recent version of this plug-in under the different name, so I don't know if they altered anything since. But Zoinks, Scoob... get some better samples of this thing on the website. Those samples are THE most bland representation of a box I've ever heard. If I hadn't already heard this thing before, I would never purchase this plug-in based on those clips. Just my .02...

The fact that the bugged version of the hardware was included just goes to show the meticulous effort in emulating the original equipment. It sounds amazing and is really inspiring.
