Yes!
I’ve worked with real Lexicon hardware in the past. This plugin is great, it doesn’t make me regret it!

LA-3A ease of use
LA-3A is undoubtedly a fantastic hardware compressor that I highly recommend to professional sound engineers and musicians. It is a true classic tool that offers unique sonic possibilities and exceptional results.
The first thing that impresses about the LA-3A is its sound characteristics. It has a warm and rich sound that adds life and a sense of space to any signal. The LA-3A can transform a simple sound into something more musical and impressive.
Another remarkable aspect of the LA-3A is its ease of use. The compressor has only a few main controls, making it very intuitive even for beginners. You can quickly achieve the desired sound simply by turning the knobs and adjusting the compression levels.
One of the key features of the LA-3A is its fast and musical release. It allows it to naturally process the attack and release of signals while preserving their dynamics and original energy. The results sound very organic and pleasing to the ear.
Furthermore, the LA-3A is known for its durability and reliability. It has been designed and manufactured using high-quality components, and its construction is sturdy. This means that you can rely on the LA-3A during recording, mixing, or mastering, knowing that it won't let you down in the most critical moments.
In conclusion, the LA-3A is a classic hardware compressor that offers superb sound, ease of use, and reliability. It is an indispensable tool for achieving professional sound and adding warmth and energy to recordings. I highly recommend the LA-3A to anyone striving for high-quality audio and seeking reliable equipment for their studio or live performances.

Excelente
me encanta el color en baterías entre otros instrumentos, también funciona muy bien en la voz, una excelencia al igual que el 2a pero con otro color tipo 1176 con la calidad de compresión de un 2a

DO NOT BUY FROM UA
DO NOT BUY FROM UA. THEY OVER CHARGE THEY ARE OVER PRICED AND DO NOT OFFER ANY REAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT. I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE. THEY WILL ONLY TALK TO YOU THROUGH AN EMAIL CHAIN WHICH IS BEYOD DISBELIEF CONSIDERING HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE. OVER A MONTH NOW AND THEY STILL CANT FIGURE OUT WHY MY CONSOLE ISNT WORKING. PATHETIC IF YOU ASK ME.

Water The F!!
This review is not about the sounds , which are excellent.
So, UA build a great B3, with a decent Leslie emulator. Bought that, works great. But you can’t feed it an external source. Then they build a standalone Leslie emulator (that’s probably better than the B3 version) that takes external feeds, but won’t work in Console - so bye bye live latency free tracking or performance with guitar.
Tried midi controlling the rotor speed? I have. It’s DOA. After an electric piano on an instrument track in PT, for example, the midi input feeds the piano, but the mod wheel does nothing. If your midi keyboard is controlling an instrument it can’t also control the rotor. Dumb.
It’s as if UA has gone out of their way to extract as much profit as possible from a single simulation…but not even done that properly.
PLEASE
1. Include the Leslie, with external input, in the B3 which loads of us use all the time.
2. Port it to use through Console
3. Sort out the midi implementation
4. Stop rinsing us.

A beast
It was love at first sight,i'm using it in every recording session,it adds direction to the instrument wrapped in a subtle saturation.

A Leslie for the Ages!
A truly great Leslie simulator. I just used it on a shaker for a track and the rotary was perfectly timed to the tempo and gave the breakdown a really cool swirly vibe that everyone was freaking out to just how cool it was. Thanks to UA for making me sound better than I am!

Love this plugin
Well, I have a lot I could say but I’m gonna keep it short. This is a great sounding plug-in and gives you a lot of what you need without the worry and maintenance of an older machine. I have a true analog & digital hybrid studio but after listening and testing this delay I feel like it’s so good and convenient that I don’t think I can justify buying the real thing.

Far away from the hardware
Far away from the hardware, unfortunately.
I love and use almost all UAD plugins, but this one needs some work.
The attack is so fast, it does not give you the punch nor the harmonics you'd expect from an La-3a. If universal audio were still selling the hardware I would understand this plugin not being very accurate....

enfin ! the real thing
Yah ! it's true. . . I could bring a Leslie every where without a truck or keep it in my mixing or recording studio without any space issue. Sounds like the real McKoy! Don't forget to put it on every electric organ plugin sounds you could have.
Again ! I have to say . . . thanks a lot Universal Audio.
Keep on keep it on!
