¿Need Power? Take it, Don't Worry.
Pultec, what you need to give it that character, precision and other functionalities, respectively.
Fully recommended for mastering, especially the "EQP", I don't really know what it has but it is very precise for what you use it for in mastering.
IF you need power, take it, don't worry.

WOW!! just wow!!!!
I'm not a guy that writes reviews, and don't get me wrong I love my other UAD plug-ins... Wasnt really expecting much from this plugin which came bundled with others I wanted. But to my surprise it is amazing, the clear vintage sound, the simplicity and great presets, make this a must! Thanks, UAD!!!!

Essentially, Essential...
This is a fantastic collection of real-time plug-ins. I have not yet used all of them, for example the space echo will probably be used in a song I'm currently working on, and it will be perfect! However the included preamps and EQs are invaluable, and I love that I can monitor in one, record dry, sample it in another, then decide which one works better. Or that I can monitor and record at the same time with the plug-in that feels right.
I definitely feel I have what I need, but I know if I need a particular sound, I'll feel comfortable purchasing new plug-ins because these are so well designed.

Can't live without it now
I didn't know that this plugin would become a staple for me when I bought it. Literally can't do anything without it now!

opinion
Hello,
all ok but only Galaxy Tape Echo and The Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor didn't appear in my ProTools 11.
Lexicon 224, and others, yes.

Fantastic & FAT.
Being a long-time Roland fan (I used to own a Juno 60) I had considered getting the Roland subscription so I could access any of the Roland Synths. But when I listened to this synth, I realized this synth was all I needed. I was rewarded even more once I started using it and going through the presets. I've already added it to my primary template for Cubase. As a a writer and producer I feel I found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

PolyMAX Synth
Loud / Clear / Versatile...comparing to an another virtual synth company from France, UAD Polymax has no artefact and no noise in its sounds.

Best bang for buck for authentic sounding plugins!
This is the first time I have purchased and started using UA plugins.
Nothing beats it. Just get it ASAP!

Essentials has a bunch of goodies at a low price point
Oxide tape alone was worth the price of this package of great plugins. Thank you UAD.

Good sounding, trustful
Using it for a several years, very good choice for vocals

My favorite tape echo!
It sounds like a real tape with those pitch and glitch movements! I usually set the delay slightly to the left and the reverb to the right - this gives a very nice space to the sound. And since it can't be set to a very long delay, I put another plugin before it with an extra delay to achieve slower repeats. The sound is so real!

This compressor is a miracle!
I've tried all sorts of 20-knob compressors and finally the LA-2A sounds better again :-) It's been my favorite compressor for decades! The Gray version is my first choice for vocals and piano (usually after another quick compressor). The Silver one I use more for other instruments. And the LA-2 is very special! It's very slow, but if matched with some smoother instrument (synth or pad), the sound becomes amazing!

A good collection of plugins.
This is a good collection of plugins to get started if you don’t have any Native UAD plugins. I already had some of them, so I wish I could have swapped in something else, but can’t complain too much.

easy to use, limited features and reasonable sound
Century is one of those plugins that UAD created based on the knowledge acquired from modeling classic tube preamps. It is not based on a particular model. The idea is interesting. The result is satisfactory but not one of my favorites. It is interesting because it uses relatively little dsp and in addition to emulating the sound of a tube pre, it also has a compressor and equalizer (although very limited). Don't think about doing heavy compression. Only moderate adjustment provides a reasonable result. The equalizer, also used sparingly, offers additional color. In any case, adjusting these parameters moderately, in addition to the pre emulation, will undoubtedly obtain a better sound than the native Apollo pre. I recommend it for those who have little DSP and/or those who are just starting out, due to its ease of use. However, for those looking for a great pre-tube modeled tone, there are better options. One last observation: the output volume is low, even when properly adjusting the signal. This is a project problem, which UAD can easily resolve, and make the updated and corrected plugin available to users.
