Oxide- Best tracking tape sim
Amazing toy. I would use atr-102 on a mixbuss or more complex tasks but for the purpose of working on individual tracks it's just super and much more musically effective than other tape sims. Don't let the simple interface and restricted number of controls trick you because you can really go from subtle warmth to heavy crushing with it. Recommended.

Upgrade now!
If you already have the legacy version and like me were very underwhelmed do yourself a BIG favour and get the full version. Yes it may seem a bit tight of UA to charge what they do for the upgrade but you'll be so glad you did. Like all UA plugins the warmth and analog feel is totally unbeatable unless you're lucky enough to own the real HW version, even so I've used the HW version and I'm hard pushed to hear the difference. I've given it 5 stars as it doesn't go up to 10! Cracking job once again UA.

I love this plugin. It is simple to use and sounds great. I enjoy playing with the IPS setting. Using the input and output can give you a nice variety of saturated and clean sounds. I love UAD

Great tape saturation
i got very very good results with this one on drums guys..not only acoustic material, tried on electronic as well...so simply to use and great presets ready to use...only 4 stars because there's no auto-compensation level when you turn up the input..

Put this onto your digital audio
As an electronic musician, I'm using this plugin frequently on synthesizer tracks. It makes any cold digital sample a warm analog-feel "hardware" sound. I love especially the typical transistor shaped result and the saturation in overdrive - it really makes the sound wet. However, massive overdrive can harm a well-designed track, but usually it sits just fine near instantly. You should buy this unit.

Best tape emulator out there
I have used plenty of tape emulators available for free and paid for.
They all claim to add the "analog magic warmth" but when running tone / noise testing on them they certanily don't add anything special.
I was recommended to try Oxide Tape Recorder and all I can say is WOW!!!
best tape emulator out there. Just having this on you channels / buss channels really adds colour in ways you would have to creatively eq to achive. Once driven on the input you get even more flavours..
For the price and what it does it well worth it..
Simple to use and just what you want at the start of any chain.

Classic sound, affordable and easy to use
I really like the sound of the LA2A, especially on bass. You can get such a nice coloration out of it, that it became my go to bass compressor. It is very easy to use and reliable. That's why I use it on nearly every project.

A must have for bass
The EQ-P1A is one of my favourite plugins on bass. It adds so much richness and roundness to it, that you can hardly get out of any other eq. It is nearly impossible to get anything bad sounding from it and therefore it has a distinct place in my mixsetup. A combined version like the legacy Pro, with all pultecs in one interface would be great. But anyway. Good job UAD!
