UAD-2 PCIe DSP Accelerator Cards

i own Pultec Pro, cambridge eq, pres de-esser, emt 250 n 140, n others uad lets my mixed warmer punchier, i mostly using on vokal club track boost on chest frequency it real silk with other emulation plug in i found thus not natural sound color such uad2 pro pultec, cambridge Eq ilove this one when i do cut frequency n boost in super-hi frequency it sound clear clean n crispy. Press de-esser is offen used this one to removed sibillant such as vocal, guitar, and cymbal, even hi hat sometimes. emt 250 making my space getting bigger and more natural its glueing most my vocal into mixed, its great dark reveberation plate, echo and other chorus stuff are great also. emt 140, when it need bright natural reveberant plate i used this one, great to brighten my space. LA2A most of all i used this one to limit or compress vocal bass or does even colloring individual club track,mostly on guitar recording used much of this one 1176 this are coloring compressor, sometimes i used this for my drum buss compressor, the bleed of drum colorful, great indeed, on recording i pass trough 1176 to compress vocal n bass n accoustic guitar also.
in conclusion uad 2 has great characther that the real the color of tone compare to the real one, before i decide to bought uad2 i did lil secondary - primary research, study from expert review, forum, user, n get ride uad 2 for instant, at first i dont expect much as it said on review n forum, but more than that, uad 2 n all emulation are great, real warm, real silk smooth sound, n uad change everything in digital recording world, makin perfect great quality n cheaper in production, with the real one i to have spend tons of money, with uad 2 it save much of bucks.. i dont know what else to say. thx uad2 u make my life getting better.

Made my productions go from good to great with a tenth of the hardware cost.

I upgraded to the UAD2 solo from two of the "vintage" cards, and can't believe I waited so long. The performance is rock solid with Sequoia, and having access to the latest developments for the platform has caused me to fall in love all over again!

UAD 2 – DUO Card
This is the go to piece in any studio setup “Hands Down” whether you’re mixing down or in postproduction. Since all UA plug-ins run off the card, you will never taxes your computers ram. Leaving you plenty of room to run tons of virtual instruments, which in my case I normally do.

if you’re looking to step up you’re game & take your mixes to that next level then I suggest Neve, SSL, Manley, Pultec, Studder, Lexicon, Trident. This is the closest you will ever get to the real thing without breaking your bank on hardware.

My DAW will be better than before.
I recommend you UAD-2 QUAD card.because modern track need many EQ and compressors.

UAD-2 DUO it's fantastic, you can have the best processors of the history for a few money. As me, if you can't effort the original because they are very expensive, hard to find and hard to conect and mantenience the UAD is your solution.

powerful and efficient cpu. easy to install driver.add a lot to the sound in a mix (almost like a real hardware comp,eq or any sound rack).

Each company swears that their product will give you the sound you've been looking for. The only one to deliver on that promise of overall fidelity is Universal Audio. Compressors, EQs, Mastering and Special Processing. These are unparalleled and are the base of the sound of my productions. The delays are very nice, but most UAD modulation effects have been left out of my mix arsenal. The EMT 250 and 140, after learning how to really take advantage of them, have become the "go to" in most instances, with Altiverb being a second choice. The only downside in my setup is, on occassion (meaning approx. 2 months), the UAD-2 card will fall out of sync and not be recognized. Shutdown, reboot, and all is good.

I'm realy glad to be user of your products, But I think UA should not just focalise on vintage hardware because the reputation of UA is already respected. But the future is not only just in the past. You can not only reproduce quality of earlier vintage product in a world who is in constant evolution. You are America, so in a customers vision around the world: "If you are also the future of sound, and not only the past..

You should look forward and check what does other inovative company do too...
To not loose the challenge to be there tomorow ( in the future ).
So of course, don't let the past, with all the vintage stuffs who are realy good for sound, but develope in paralel a line of intelligents and inovatifs product in the design but also in the way to show what we hear. Because of course, what we hear is the most important. But you are not working only for very experimented engineers any more..

Izotope understood it well...take advantage of your competence and knowledge of doing the things well...

UAD2-Quad is a great product. Regarding sound quality this card and the plug ins hit my home studio a great step forward.
Up to now I didn´t reach the power limit of the card even in complex Cubase projects.
I´m delighted by the stability of the drivers and the software.

Not satisfying items:
Price policy of the latest plug ins seems to get higher and higher.

In the beginnings I had some trouble with my new card. My computer only sometimes recognized the UAD2. Your support treated me like a fool, I only got standard answers to my problem.
In despair I contacted your German distributor. They worked really great and sent me a new card for exchange. Since the exchange I never had this starting problem any more. So the fault was really the card itself.

There were some e-mails with your support. There was no problem to transfer the licences to the new card, but up to now you didn´t succed to delete the old card out of my account. There is only the "System 1" that exists, the "System 2" was the defect card that has been sent back to the distributer.
Of course that is no problem, but in case of real single problems my trust in your support is not the biggest.

At the moment I´m waiting for a special offer for your Studer and Lexicon 224 plug in. I tested the 224 and found it to be great.

Your programmers do a really great job.

Waiting for the distressor plug-in and vst 64bit uad plug-ins!

We have been using the UAD-2-SOLO and its plug-ins for over three years now and we are very happy with the easy to use plugins to enhance even difficult acoustic audio recordings such as flamenco and Gypsy jazz, the fact that one can always go back to the original recorded audio signal, enables audio engineer to experiment without any risks.

Everyyhing is perfect !!! I can``t work without UA !!!

Important examples of good and clear sound and video are where the application will have outlined.
Maybe even a list of the presets would be interesting. But otherwise, you do it perfectly!

I am thrilled with UAD. I now work a couple of years with your system and I still perrin at the first moment when I first opened the Neve plug-in and it sounds like the first time. Unbelievable!

The only reason I rank the Duo as a 4 star is that it seems everytime I try to backup my pc as soon as I reboot after the back up my Duo is unrecognized and I have to uninstall EVERYTHING, reboot, pull the card out, reboot, re-install the software and then re-install the Duo to get it working again. This really is a PAIN IN THE ASS. I love your products but man please fix this in an upcoming update. Thank you for the great emulations, I recently used a bunch of my UAD plugs on a remix I did for Richie Hawtin.

It's so easy to create professional sound since I've caught these hardwares and softwares...

If you've wondered what you could do if you had the most sought-after audio gear that has ever been produced, you can stop fantasizing, it's right here. I've just dialed in FAIRCHILD compression into a mix and almost fainted. I added EMT 140 reverb to a send/return in my DAW...I almost gagged.Try using the COOPER TIME CUBE on a lackluster beat and see what happens. I've aways wanted to track with HARRISON eq. I've always wanted to mix on a NEVE console. I've always wanted...now I got it. You call yourself a mix engineer, master suite editor, sound scientist, dubologist, you've gotta have this stuff. We can run with the Big Dogs now.
By the way they keep making top shelf stuff and it's all the reel deal
