Ocean Way or the Highway!
I was looking for a reverb that was unique and easy to use for a quick demo mix. I started the 14 day demo, and never looked back. This reverb was not only a great sounding tool, but fun to tweak. That may sound weird, but it is true. Got a great deal, used a coupon. What could be better?

Incredible for Film Composing, untouchable!
I am beyond ecstatic with this plugin. I've used altiverb and vienna mir pro as well as many other "high end" convolution type reverbs but none added space like this plugin. And the re-mic is what makes this golden. Load up hollywood strings, if you have it, set mics to the "Mid" setting, so that it's rather dry but not too close, and then place ocean way studios as an insert and play around till you find what you like, it doesn't take long!!! And the thing is it creates the space you need and then if you want the larger than life sound just added some tail reverb such as EWQL spaces or similar on a bus and bring it in till you like it. Get it! There's nothing else that sounds like this.

No joke
This plug is really detailed and special. Took awhile for me to believe the hype, but after a few instances, really find it to be a game breaker. Start with overheads in re-mic and once you get the feel, use it wherever you'd like. A+

Great space
I have a small room that sounds pretty good, but this definitely helps my drum sound get to the next level. Highly recommended for those of you who want a great sounding room.

Unexpected Benefit
I read a review somewhere about this plugin, and looked forward to trying it so I could put my tracks in the famous Ocean Way sound. I loved the sound on strings, a piano, guitars and especially drums, but when I ran a poorly recorded vocal track through the plug in its "REAMP" mode I discovered the best unexpected benefit imaginable. The track, with its poor tone, came to life as it was "reamped" through Ocean Way's AKG C12. The resonance of my room, accenting certain lower mid frequencies, disappeared and the tone got sweet and silky. A useful plugin suddenly became indispensible. Love it.

One-of-a-Kind
This thing is trully unique. Whenever i need to a special space for my strings section or to process the vocal in the unusual way - it is tool that does magic.
It is not a reverb. It is SPACE and ROOMS for your instruments and sounds.

Making everything alive
The plug-in makes dead Drum machines alive (as opposed to real drummers that always die at the end)! ;-)
Also dry speaking voices finally get a great home. Dry/Wet level to 1-2% is enough in my case.
Because I use a 27 "screen it would be great if I could zoom the Plug-In for a better view. In the evening my eyes are sometimes very tired when I have to adjust things so small on the screen.

I guarantee this will change your life
Just demo this plugin (stereo) on a mono acoustic guitar track that has been recorded with a pickup. Use the studio A guitar preset. And tell me the guitar track wasn't recorded with incredible mics in the most gorgeous room.
So now with my apollo I get this acoustic guitar sound live on all my gigs. UA continues to change the whole game.
Of course it's equally stellar on a drum submix, or lead vocal, or any sound you want to have a gorgeous room sound instead of a dry close miked sound.

Need a room?
Well, this might not be the cheapest, nor the lightest plugin on the UAD DSP-platform. However this room sounds like no other room-emulation I have encountered. It sounds open and very 3D-ish = natural. I had my doubts about the Re-mic outcome but these were all put to shame. Astonishing what this can do to a fairly dry signal and virtual instruments. Hats off to UA for this one. Pricey and heavy on the shark chip (bounce in place for me)- but no one comes close to this one. Do yourselves a favour and try it - you will need that room:)

a great suble reverb for tracks recorded in a dead or otherwise uninteresting space - has some peculiarities in it's function so read up on the remic v reverb settings in the manual. that said, this plug is very helpful for adding dimension/life to tracks without too much wash.

Exceeded expectation
Love drums through this thing! But honestly anything goes... Vocals, guitar, piano, anything. Adds great natural space to any track and easy to adjust. Definitely more options than I would have guessed. Great plug.

This plugin is Boss !
I Demo'd O.W.S after reading a review on the new "Daft Punk" mix ...I loaded it up, tracked through it from the get go with a decent Taylor and the "Guitar preset" loaded , Wow !..All this added Control i was suddenly presented !!! I love this Plugin .It sounds great on Overheads and adds nice body to snare in Reverb Mode. I also love the space its created in my mixes .Dialing in a different Kind of depth & Character in a few simple tweaks :)

A game changer plugin
This is for sure the most innovative plugin of the UAD line.
Didn't find a source i couldn't improve with this amazing tool.
As a room/ambiance reverb unit it is great... but once you start to use the re-mic mode then you enter a whole new world where you can go from just adding subtle "air" around the source to fully imerging it into this great souding studio while changing the overall tone by switching mics.
The more tracks you'll use it on and the more smooth and coherent your mix will start to sound before you'll even really start to mix.
If you work mainly ITB this plug really is a game changer. 5 stars !!!
