Nothing to say about this that hasn't been said. I owned two hardware 1073's back in the 90's. Shouldn't have sold them. I am very happy with this plug in.

Definely a nice sounding plug. Gives vocals a nice presence. Would use on anything. Never used a real neve so I can’t say how accurate, but it sounds good none the less.

Virtuel et alors...
On retrouve vraiment bien ce médium caractéristique des tranches Neve.
C'est doux voir très doux, pour ne pas employer le mot chaleur.
Cette tranche est complète.
Impossible de mal égaliser avec ces EQ d'UA.
La coloration est belle et bien faite.
Le top sur les drums et les voix. Fantastique...

Die Frage war Preamp kaufen oder Apollo Twin mit Unison Plugin Neve 1073. Habe letzteres entschieden und nicht bereut, unglaublicher Sound, nie vorher gehabt.

It is compatible with my voice quality. Harmonics feel much more wonderful than other comp. I also have a softtube version. UAD is more natural to feel compressed. This also wants an actual machine.

I love this channel Strip!
I don't often do reviews but I gotta do this one. I have been using this thing for over a year and it never ceases to amaze me. Whether it's a mic on a guitar amp, a vocal, an acoustic guitar or using it as a channel strip in a mix, this is the most musical sounding plugin I know of. Always transparent and, depending what you are looking for, it can deliver a beautifully clean sound or, if you are looking for it, a very musical distortion. I have overdriven it for vocals on purpose and loved the result.
The compressor is very smooth and the EQ is so musical. After so many times of continually reaching for it, I had to sing it's praises.

Blown Away
For a long time I ignored all the talk about UAD plugins and how great they are. I was content with my waves bundle and other plugins from 3rd party developers, even some stock plugins from my DAWS (Logic, Reason, Protools etc..) I convinced, with a little tweaking here and there I could achieve the best sounding top quality studio mixes on my tracks with what plugins I already had, boy was I wrong.
After being enlighten by a friend of mine who first took the dive to invest in a UAD audio interface and plugins, I was blown away after hearing a few of his mixes in which he used nothing but UAD plugins on his master bus. I was hooked, cooked, and done. I had to get into the big boy league of music production. I brought my first Apollo Twin and since then I never looked back!!
