I use it on everything
The 610b is excellent for many things, but this neve pre is a beast. I’ve pretty much used it on every track along with the studer tape recorder. Warmth and tone for days.

Hello,
I really like the fact that the Neve is being advertised as a natural sounding plugin and for years I have thought Neve had some great EQ's. If you have some time to turn the dials it sounds great! I just wish there were more presets. I don't think I'm very good at hearing frequencies to take out in a mix.

Different texture than the Neve 1073, got to have them both!
I already owned the Neve 1073 and thought that I didn’t need it’s bigger brother. After demoing the 1084 extensively, I decided that the texture and response was different enough. Both carry that famous Neve sound, but sometimes the 1073 is the right tool for the job and at other times I prefer the 1084.
So you gotta have them both

Neve 1073 when recording a Bass guitar!
Havn't tried it much yet, just for recording some bass guitar (with heavy rock music). Sounds great! Sounds focused and together! Great tone/color too! But no tool or instrument is universal imo! So get at least a few different ones so you can change to one that seem to work with the kick drum, etc. That's how I seem to work with it anyway! I have 5 different UAD unison preamps and all sound good to me but depending on the song I try different ones until I hear what's gonna work the best with the drums at least.

Outstanding quality
The 2254 really gives that vintage vibe. The build quality is amazing, and it has fairly light dsp usage.

Not good for Apollo Twin
Disappointed that I can only use one or two instances of this plugin in a mix before I get DSP errors. I wish I'd known that before I purchased it.

The 2254e adds nice solid weight, tone, and glue. The 33609c is still nice enjoy the larger gui. A welcomed addition to my collection.
