La mejor emulacion de previo que he probado , las pistas de voz resucitan adquiriendo ese tono a Disco que busco , si los plugins fueran mas asequibles el entorno UA seria perfecto ,

Sounds Great!
This is my goto plugin when looking to EQ. Always love that Neve EQ sound and this nails it. Use it exclusively on my guitar tracks!
The combination of a Burl B1 during recording and the Neve 1073 during mixing, guitars shred through the mix!

IMPRESSIVE WARM SOUND
I must say i'm impressed, great headroom, smooth timbre, very musical and easy to use eq. Everything i have recorded through this device (synths, bass, vocals, etc.) sounds so pro in my home studio!
unfortunately i bought my Apollo quad when there was no satellite coming with it at the same price and 1073 sucks up a lot of dsp resources..
I'm a live engineer and it would be great having such a brilliant technology as the Unison preamps and UAD plugs into live mixing consoles, i would have so much fun!

It is what it is.
This plugin its just extremely great! but it takes a lottt of your DSP ( a lot ). But its very worthless, and expensive too. Its just what you need if you want that NEVE sound and you cant afford a neve preamp jet. I use it with a U87 and works flawless. The bad thing is i bougth it on SALE in 200$ and now its on SALE in 99$. :o

coming from an apogee Duet, the Twin with the neve emulation is just a different planet.

Lovely pre & Eq
The pre and the eq work for wide variety of sources from vocals to synths. Nice open sound and extremely small tweaks are needed to make sources sound more alive. Highly recommended.

Very good EQ and preamp. I like how the plugin seems to create a bit of space around the track, giving it a little better definition in the mix without even engaging the EQ. The EQ curves behave like the hardware and the sound is quite close (although not really there, don't believe the hype). Not night and day vs the Scheps 73, but a little better and smoother. A little thicker, if a little subdued in comparison, but in a good way. Smoother highs, no bad hype. Low end filter is good. It's a power hog though and the SE regular version is damn close. Very satisfying to use!

The Neve 1073, is great sounding adding warmth and harmonics to drums, guitar vocal etc. Really good in unison. For an Apollo twin it use´s way to much DSP though!!

Great classic sound
I do mainly hip hop and r&b vocal tracking and this is a huge upgrade from the 610b that comes with the apollo twin duo. But I must say that the sound of the neve is great unison but I will be looking into a different outboard channel strip, I'm a hands on kind of a guy. This is perfect for mobile sessions where carrying around bulky equipment isn't on the agenda.overall great job UA.

I HAVE THE SLATE VMR AND VCC, WAVES AND MANY OTHERS AND THERE'S NOTHING LIKE THIS BAD BOY!! THE ONLY THING I CANT STAND IS ITS A DSP KILLER!!!! LOL I GUESS YOU CANT HAVE IT ALL!!! LOL

Tout d'abord je ne suis pas un grand connaisseur des 1073. Ce que je peux dire c'est que j'ai fait une série de voix sur un "vrai" 1073 (récent, un Neve AMS avec convertisseurs intégrés), et que j'ai du refaire une autre voix, avec la même chaine, même micro et même compresseur, mais n'ayant plus à disposition le Neve, j'ai dû refaire deux voix en passant par l'unisson de mon Apollo avec le 1073, et le son était très très proche. Je pense qu'au final, on ne pourra pas distinguer le "hard" du "plug".
En ce qui concerne l'EQ, je dirai que parfois ça marche très bien, et parfois moins bien... sur les voix, finalement, je lui préfère l'EQ Maag EQ4, notamment pour le haut du spectre, ainsi que le medium. Mais le Neve est intéressant pour rajouter du grain en poussant un peu le potard (ligne), et utiliser le coupe-bas, très musical.

Disabling LoadLock was the key...
I tried out the 1073 previously, but found that it was draining my DSP so fast that I could never be using as an EQ-plugin as I wanted. Figured it was not worth it. Then I learned about disabling LoadLock which does not use DSP from any sections of the plugin that you don't use and that made me go for this plugin and I've not regretted it. I really love both the EQ and the preamp of this plugin. A slight midtone boost gives the wonderfull vintage sound on vocals, snare drums and many other instruments I was looking for.

Great sounding Pre
Great sounding mic preamp that adds a nice color to whatever you put it on. The full plugin is quite a dsp hog, but using it on the source track on the way in in the console has added some really nice color and clarity to the vocals, and bass I've tried it on.
