Really surprised by this
This came with a bundle I bought. I had no interest in it and would not have bought it separately. Guess what? It's super useful for broad equalization. I haven't tried any surgical stuff with it but I'd bet it can do that too. I'm knocking off a star just because this is one where I wish UA wasn't so dead set on sticking to the hardware interface. It might be easier to use for some if they altered the interface. All in all I'm glad I have this plug despite not wanting it.

Great plugin
Great, musical, plugin, but it has a learning curve for newer engineers and mixers. Not a simple plugin, but sounds amazing.

Good master eq
Good eq but hard to read some of the settings without a resizing option

Massive eq
Has very good control and can shape well. Not exactly the same overall tone of the real Manley.

Love the sound, UI way too small
I bought the Massive Passive EQ plug-in to use for color EQ on a master chain. I instantly loved the sound I was getting out of some of the presets and found it relatively easy to tweak. I compared it to a lot of different EQ plug-ins including the Chandler Curve Bender but preferred the overall sound of the Manley. (I did, however, end up buying and using the FabFilter Pro-Q3 exclusively for both color and corrective EQ-ing in my master chain because it was just so very surgical.) One negative for the Manley is that the user interface is WAY too small for how many details are on the panel. I find this to be true with all UAD plugs and UA desperately needs to start offering resizability. I probably won’t use the Manley how or as much as I had originally intended, but I will more than likely use it on certain instrument channels similar to how I use the Pultec on my vocal channels. I probably wouldn’t have bought it had I settled first on the FF Pro-Q3 but I’m glad I have it for options.

Manley Massive Passive EQ
I did an A/B with the Precision EQ and preferred the Manley. The Rock and U&D
presets seemed to preserve the drum sounds better for mastering.

Works pretty well
I am usually not a fan of UA plugins as all. Most stock plugins that come with DAWs for free sound much better than most UA plugins. I have a hardware MP. When that is in use I do use this plulgin. It does a pretty good job. Not 100% like the original but close enough for small stuff. I have no idea why UA still process audio though the UA hardware. This add an additional 20ms or so of latency rendering this useless during tracking. Wake up UA it is 2021 computers are fast enough switch to native Ilok so we do not have latency anymore.

Increíble!
Tenía mucha información y había escuchado muchas pruebas en la web pero… ya en casa y con tranquilidad… es realmente bueno!
Es un SÚPER PULTEC!

Awesome! Smooth and clean.
I instantly felt in love with this EQ, specially for bus and mastering purposes. It's very smooth and transparent. Maybe not the most versatile due to the lack of mid-size processing, it would be amazing to have this feature in this plugin. But only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the GUI, sometimes it's difficult to see the small parameters. I think it should be resizable, especially considering its price.

Cm se cm sa
Idk I have a hardware massenberg parametric that is totally hi-fi it’s like comparing a hardware version of an 1176, that being said the plugin it’s not as organically sweet compared to a hardware inductor based eq. However you’re dsp models ng programmers are among the best bar none. I also have two Brent Averill original 1073’s and I have the 1084 plug in. Spot on! How about modeling a flickenger??

A cut above the rest
I have used many other companies emulations of analogue gear and after switching over to a Uad system I can say the effort they put into their modelling shows and as a result is simply just better then the others out there

Sutil y efectivo

Good EQ, but uses a lot of DSP.
Good EQ, but uses a lot of DSP. Can't use it for every track.

Best EQ for Balancing
Sounds good, but in 2019 it’s so expensive!
Where we can have a resizable interface?)

the definition's amazing with a nice top end.

Manley Massive Passive EQ
very good.
But I use DSP too much. That is a shame.

Very nice eq on output busses
Not so great on individual channels. Very warm and clear but not very powerful. Excellent for correction and refinement, one of the better high frequency bands of any software eq. One of these lives on the output of everything I do.
