Just love it
¡The sound, the magic, the everything that add to the sound!
I never have the chance to use the actual Pultec, but this is awesome to put everywhere.
Just drop it and is sounding on its own, dial it and make evrything sound even better

Really Amazing!
The UAD Ampex ATR-102 Mastering plug-in is really amazing! The ease of operation is reasonable and instantly provides a high quality sound! It works perfectly in both: Logic Pro X 11 and Cubase Pro 13!

I expected more
I miss the tape echo in the native version. Let’s hope this feature will appear as an update soon. Haven’t tried it with Luna, which is not my favourite DAW. So I’ll keep using Abbey Road’s tape recorder from Waves for this purpose.

Ampex® ATR-102 Mastering Tape Recorder
I don't know what it does, but if you put it on the master bus, the tracks sound amazing!!!

Sounds great
Nice strip, pleasing analog emulation. Maybe not as subtle as acustica pink for example but it is also way lighter in terms of resources.

Drive it !
Really like it, very versatile, it's pretty much a channel strip at this point

Atr102
Great tape sim … a bit like a cut price Satin … can go from crunchy to subtle and boomy to fizzy … wish it still had the echo option but you can’t have it all

Without delay and advanced config of wow / noise
I always liked this plugin, and when the native version came out, I bought it without hesitation. However, without reading the fine print, I found myself with a version that doesn't hold a candle to the original. It would be great if they also included the full version without charging us extra. I understand the advantage of a lighter version, but it should be an alternative option.

Clear, punchy ! What else ? The best for rock and blues voice and instruments !

Ich bin begeistert
EInfach klasse! Ich habe den Effekt auf Vocals angewendet. Schafft Räumlichkeit und Wärme, ohne sich aufdringlich in den Vordergrund zu spielen. Perfekt, ein neues Lieblings-Plugin.

Native Version is very disappointing
Unfortunately the native version is a total disappointment for me. Not only is it not compatible with the UAD-2 version, none of the presets produce the depth and 3 dimensionality as you would expect from the original.
I wouldn't even call the native version a stripped-down light version, and I don't understand uad's aditude here at all.
It is a total break with everything that has previously appeared as native versions.

My favourite DAW
I have been in the audio production industry since 2008 and therefore have used almost every daw that I think I've ever heard of from Cubase to Pro tools and everything in between. I worked with sonar cakewalk for a long time in a studio as well and I'll say this Luna daw is my favorite daw to work with in terms of workflow, audio recording, how visually pleasing it is and the sound it produces. It may be lacking in some of those finer fancy editing details that Pro tools offers, but as I've always worked with physical hardware myself, I find that I prefer to edit more manually than the Pro tools auto align features offer and given that the basic Luna daw gives you everything minus some plugins that you can purchase yourself, it is a huge advantage that it is free because it is a world-class daw and for the things you get when moving to Pro tools or Cubase they aren't in my opinion worth it for the $1,000 tag. What you get with Luna daw is everything you need to produce great sounding music with awesome summing and authentic sounding analog feel. Luna daw is the way to go, especially if you like the Hands-On editing as I learned when I went to audio engineering college. All that and it's free. I bought the"pro" package but I also have the Apollo x8 heritage edition so obviously I'm a fan of their plugins and hardware as well!

One of the Best 2 Bus!
This plugin sounds so good on a drums!
Then I tried it on my guitar, bass and vocal busses! Wheeeew! It gave it a nice glue and gelled the mixes together as a record! Don’t pass up this one!

It could be much better
After about two years without being released natively, when it is released, it has a somewhat weak vintage look and is lacking in features! Even the LUNA extension has a more pleasant palette and skin. In fact, I think it is the LUNA extension but expanded, and not an improved version of the original. They made a mistake in the plugin where they couldn't make a mistake. Will the next ones be like this too, reduced?

Great software and integration with Luna, BUT....
I already owned the API Collection, and ALL of the plugins in the Bundle, and had I known that if I owned ALL of the API, that I would get the Luna extensions, and it would "Integrate" on it's own, without having the Luna Bundle I never would have purchased it, because I already owned everything in the Luna Pro Bundle except the ATR-102, which was "Apollo only", and purchased it to get the API Integration and the ATR-102. Low and behold, right after I buy it I'm told that already owning the API Collection gets me the Luna Integration, and the ATR-102 went Native and on sale...
So I basically blew $200! And the fact that the API Collection sells for one price, and the Luna API Bundle is $400 more, says that you're just playing on peoples ignorance. Add to that that there wasn't even an "upgrade path" owning EVERYTHING except the ATR-102 was another slap in the face.
NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!
