I put this one in a send-bus and let varying amounts of the guitars and drumtrack (made in Logic, and exported to LUNA :-) thru it. Great!

Just plug in a guitar and use only this plugin in Unison and play around with the knobs. Great fun!

Mixbus essential
This has become a total game changer on my mix bus. I previously used a different plugin which is very popular, but for me this has a different vibe that really suits my mix style and production. Top marks yet again UA!!!!!!!

I put this on next to everything. If I’m in Luna I literally out this on everything. I love putting it on buses even on default settings because it just helps everything sit together nicely. Which is something that I was seriously lacking and having trouble with before this and other UA plug-ins.

I wrote this off originally because I received it with a promo when I purchased my twin X and when I finally tried I couldn’t believe it. I’ve since demoed most of the unison preamps and I can honestly say this is top 5 for me for vocals.

I do not have any experience with tape machines but this plug-in is amazing. I prefer it over the slate VMS, softube tape and waves tape emulations. Get it, you won’t regret it!

To be honest, o thought this was for rock. Just the sound shen you turn it on is nice. I have the B M , but this sounds much richer.

Great for Summing
I went all in for what the Luna platform has to offer. This means running your tracks into the Oxide tape, and then going into Analog Bus Summing. I compared this with a slew of other solutions, including putting the plugins in other software, and using hardware analog summing dedicated hardware. In the end using a DAW or hardware summing sounded about the same, but the Luna platform is in a different level of platform. When combining Oxide tape with one of the Neve or API summming options and the ATR-102, its hard pressed to compare. I switch between the Oxide and A800, and they both have their best suited material. When you put it in one track or another it is not always apparent but when you listen to all the tracks individually running through it, you get real close to using real tape. I have not had so much fun with a plugin or platform since I left reel-to-reel tape in 2007. To me this brought back all the excitement I had so missed working with tape, but not having to deal with maintenance or parts or fixing or aligning, etc... Well Done!!

Klingt wie er klingen soll - einfach ein unaufdringlicher und nicht färbender Hall.
Wird bei mir in jeder zukünftigen Produktion seinen Platz finden.
