API Vision this is very good !!!!
Without a doubt my favorite plugin in unison item preamp. He gives a very real and very solid at the sound characteristic. I loved it in use on snare and also on guitars besides giving much life the voices !!! I highly recommend it

Great sounding channel strip.. As a API hardware user I was really pleased with good sounding emulation. Its getting so close to the hardware , just insane! great job!!

Very nice tape emulation!
Well, I really like it a lot. Already had the Slate Digital VTM and Waves KMT and I have to say the UA Ampex takes the crown from the VTM (except for the multi instance grouping function of VTM). I mostly use it in slow tape speeds due to preferring the effects in the lower frequency range and I love how it glues the whole mix together. Excellent sounding plug-in!

Wow!
I just got an apollo twin and a sweet ass mic. I am a complete rookie when it comes to recording and mixing. Though this plug makes everything sound better. Like everything! I usually put it on my output channel and crank that baby up. Sounds like baby Jesus riding a badass unicorn rhino, ejaculating in your ears and whispering "everything is cool man" with his honey lips. Yes, I do recommend this product.

Pultec Passive EQ Collection
Since I started using this plug in 2 weeks ago it has become by go to eq collection for colour. The character it imparts is sublime, as it adds something that I simply have not found in other emulations I've used. Does is sound exactly like the hardware? I don't know but it has added something magical to nearly every source I've tried it on!

it`s simply perfect
i tried it first when i got my uad2-quad, but i didn`t really got the concept, but when i saw the great price a few weeks ago i thought: let`s give it another try.
and after reading the manual i was enlightened immediately and since then i use it in every project.
it just sound so good and you can get this nice warmth and presence as you would expect from an old analog legend.
so far it`s the UAD plugin i`m most happy with

This is a truly awesome plugin. It makes me smile almost every time I try it. Really my favourite EQ and I already have quite a number and I cannot imagine doing a mix without it.

Great on vocals!!!
I don´t have hardware versions of these (I´d love to) but UA LA-2A bundle sounds terrific on vocals and bass.
I recently recorded a Harry Connick Jr. cover called "Just like me", just to try the new UA plugins I bought with my new Octocore card. It is a very simple song and I wanted to capture the airy, clean, punchy, sound of the record with that modern vintage vibe. Here´s the link in case you wanna take a listen.

Initially I chose 1176 bundle, but I had to buy LA-2A bundle after hearing how the demo version sounded on vocals. It´s so easy to get the correct sound. A sound I just couldn´t get with 1176 (which is terrific on drums and guitars).

My first review... not because I've never loved a UAD plug in before, but because this one turned a GM midi mastering job into a 'record' ... also just the slightest touch of Telectronix and it was alive. Like jumping out of the speakers alive!!

I've used other tape sims in the past so was reluctant to try this one thinking it wasn't necessary. But wow, this really does bring something to the table the others don't. It's 'pushy' when I want it to be and gives a nice warmth where needed. Lots of options too!

Not enough adjectives to describe what this EQ means to my set-up. Fat, rich,depth, warmth, bliss!! Easy and fun to use. Does it sound like a Pultec? I wouldnt know, but it sounds good and thats all i care about. It goes on everything, and my mixes sound better than ever as a result.
