UAD is different
I've been using this most famous EQ for a while, but it was a product from another company. I thought it wouldn't be much different, but UAD was different. Great EQ!

Still can't figure out how to say the name
It sounds great but it's a constant argument on how to pronounce the U syllable. I hope they update it to fix that.

Wow!
Just pop the Pultec on a channel and it immediately adds something wonderful, and that's before you've made a move on any of the knobs. A must have tool, my strings have come alive!

Fantastic EQ for plucked instruments
It's amazing what this thing can do to make harps, guitars, and other plucked instruments, shine and pop out in an orchestral mix.

Fantastic piece of software
Well, it's really hard but I had to let my hardware go after a lot of testing comparing with the plugin. Classic Bass, Drums, Vocal AND on the 2Bus.

It's alright, but kinda skippable
This compressor plugin does add punch, but I find the controls to be frustrating; especially the internal sidechain filter. Try it for yourself to see if you like it; but I seldom use this and I can't imagine very many scenarios where I would use it. In most cases, I end up reaching for something like an SSL G-series bus compressor plugin instead.

Beautiful
Quite honestly, the thought of using presets on anything gives me a rash - but on this synthesizer they are so good.. I use 'em. Universal Audio did something very special here. Highly recommended. Thank you.
