One of the nicest reverbs out there
I've owned altiverb, which is stunning for vocals, and I'd have to say this is on par with that. It even offers some extra features. Very natural, creamy, reverb. Highly recommend!

Super dirty
This reverb rules and is a different vibe then all the other tools in my arsenal. The distortion really makes the verb cut through the mix. Bloom setting is bomb. Buy it.

Dirty magic
This is not your smooth hall, or shimmering plate. This thing is on the dirty and distorted side and I love it. Totally different texture from reverb and creates atmospheres really magically. The Bloom setting is insanely cavernous and clear from the distortion. Cuts through the mix. Buy it.

A versatile unit
I use this on everything from vocals, guitars, keys, etc. It's my go-to reverb. I haven't used the additional effects much, the reverb alone was worth the purchase price, however I foresee them being useful at some point in the future.

Great reverb unit!
Great functionality, fat sound, amazing detail! Great plug!

wow-can't live without
It is just incredible. I can't say any negative about it. Cool in any way. I think, this is the one and only reverb plugin, which feels like an analogue space. Thanks UAD!

Retro heaven
If you admire the work of those vintage recordings & ever want to emulate them don't use the L224 (Got it love it) or the Ams (Got it love it!!) or even the Emt250(Got it love it). Get the old EMT140 for that spaghetti Western feel. It's not a wow machine so much ch as a "Yeah that's what they used!" Machine. No reverb covers all uses but this does the vintage plate job wonderfully. Well well worth it!!

Silk.
Smooth reverb that can either fill space naturally and transparently, or draw attention if you want it to. The three plate models give some nice variation, making the 140 very flexible and easily adjustable to suit almost any situation. It's easy to hear why hardware versions of the 140 are still in use over fifty years after its debut.

Me Likey...
I have a bunch of Waves reverbs, plus some Avid reverbs and a few other verby plugins. I think I use this one more than all the others because of its natural sound. The interface is great and has some usable presets with real control over the details. It doesn't have that screechy nausea-inducing sound on the higher frequencies. The tail also has a cool retro vibe to it. It does dirty analogue and clean too. Me Likey.

Excellent
This is one of the best, if not the best, plate-reverb plugin I've ever used. Sound is very natural and clean, or you can use it to get a dirtier "vintage" reverb (compared to products by Waves and Lexicon). Will probably use on all of my mixes from this point forward.

Everything you need from a plate
The flexibility of this beautiful sounding reverb is astounding.
It sits effortlessly with mixes whether used obviously or subtly and can be a really interesting tool for creating soundscapes when used in a non conformist way.
It is definitely a must have in any production tool kit.

Just beautiful on vocals
I held of getting this for a while but am so glad I now have it as part of my arsenal. It literally adds fairy dust to vocals. I wouldn't turn to anything else for the shine and air it gives the human voice.

The best emulation I've used.
I invested in the TC system as I loved their DVR EMT plate but this is nicer and smoother. It is my go to reverb for so many things. I am still hunting out a real one but until then this fills the gap admirably.

Better than the rest
I've got the Waves Mercury Bundle, and nothing comes close to sounding as authentic as this plug-in.

In the mix
Best reverb I've had the opportunity to try, sounds great embedded in the mix. There are three plates to choose from - one of them will do the trick. My only regrets are all the others I've bought over the years...

Beautiful!
Without any doubt my best buy ever. So warm, rich and accurate.
If you buy it you'll be as happy as me.

Simple classic plate reverb
With the EMT 140 you get straight forward classic plate reverb sound. I found myself using the B and C plates more than the A and it's a really good idea to have a 3 "color" option. I don't have much to say because it just sounds good with no effort in most of the material. The filters are a really useful option. I have the 140 with the EMT 250 and the Lexicon 224 and my reverb plug in folder its complete.

You get what it says in the box
4 knob Reverb, super natural reverb in 30 seconds, no time to waste. Worked in everything that I put it on, used it in 80% of the times I choose it, the other 20% I was looking for something more exotic so finally used the 140 or the lex 224 but you can get a really good reverb sound with this 3 plug ins. Good for a modern drum sound or acoustic guitar. Didn't use the other effects.

Great Plate Sound
I have been mixing analog for the past 10 years.
I recently was forced to go back into the box.
It is plugins like this one that makes it ok!
I am actually selling my real plate because this plugin just works!
My plate is not an EMT, but hey... it's a plate.

Great Reverb
The EMT 140 plate is awesome for many applications. I love it on snares.
