Outstanding Reverb!
I never had the opportunity to use the actual hardware unit, but i can say the EMT-140 plugin by far has been the easiest reverb for use. It produces such a realistic and natural reverb sound! I love it on drums, vocals, and guitar parts primarily.

EMT 140 is special
This reverb is known as the invisible verb when you want it to sit masked in the mix. Finally, all of the original controls plus a few extra are available for total manipulation. They sound incredible. Great on vocals snare guitars and anything your heart desires. Love it

Great emulation of one of my favourite reverbs
This is three great plates in one. I haven't been able to compare them directly with the real EMT140s I have used, but they work great and fit in the mix beautifully.

Wow!!
When it comes the time to speak about the EMT 140 Plate Reverb i can only step back and take my hat off. This machine makes a big difference when it's time for sitting my drums in the right spot inside the mix.

EMT 250 an ideal reverb
EMT 250 is an ideal and worth buying reverb for vocal and instruments. It gives me the right amount of reverb in vocal and perfect amount of doubling the sound of my selected instruments. I do own popular brands of plugin effects, but I think plugins which I purchased from Universal Audio are the most reliable and outstanding plugins I've ever had. They are worth buying, it never tax my CPU and I have these kind of satisfaction that I really did an investment wise purchased of UA plugins regarding with the result of my mix and master.

EMT 250
It's great. Buy it. I am forced to write more, as the text length I wrote was too short. I repeat: it's great. Buy it.

Very Nice Sound
Bought it to have a good sounding reverb for tracking with apollo twin and it has been proofen to be very suitable for that kind use-case. Changing the sound can be done very quickly what is important for me during recording. The reverb tail sounds lush and beautiful and also small rooms sound good. After a while I recognized how well the chorus sounds and so I use that one too. More and more I use the emt 250 not only for tracking but as my main reverb during mixing. This is even with only a dural core dsp possible because the plugin is far from being cpu intensive. I like it very much on guitars too, if I want a very nice dreamy kind of sound.

Amazing reverb!
I may be one of those guys who have the largest reverb plugin collection, and I can see myself regularly coming back to the EMT 250. It has such a distinct clean sound with a perfect blend of early reflections (ER) and tail, and I suspect it is that perfect blend (with a slightly downgraded vintage sample rate) that explains why this reverb easily finds its way in your mix. If you are looking for a type of reverb that offers a space to your tracks without distancing them too far back or over-shadowing other tracks in the mix, then here you have it !

Subtle is key and it works wonders!
Software reverbs often disappoint me. This one works!
My favorite "audible" reverb still is the Lexicon, for the lush, long tail, sounds.
This one best feature is being subtle but yet creating a vast and wide space, without cluttering the low end and creating "fog" in the high mid and high end. Things thrown in keep definition!
It is very capable of a smaller space, "room" type of reverb, too.
I like how quick I get things right with it, very straight forward.
The chorus, echo and flanger are nice alternatives to what I have, but I find myself using other plugins for those purposes first.
My new go to reverb, and that's saying a lot :)
