Reverb is the best thing about UAD for me

The reverb plugins are really my favorite thing about UAD. They are so close to the real thing I feel like I'm in a world class studio using the original gear. A MUST BUY.

I Own 2 EMT 140's

The UAD Plate ends up on almost every session I have. I have 2 EMT 140's, one of them being Martec. I also have numerous plate emulation plugins like Altiverb, Waves, Valhalla etc. I'll say this plate emulation is nearly identical to mine except it's less noisy and a little more perfect. All of the other plate plugins I've used don't sit in the mix quite as well as the UAD stuff and my real plates. I still tell people to dive into the UAD simply for the plate emulation if anything. It's truly the best.

Fantastic sounding plate reverb

After many years still a fantastic sounding plate reverb. Maybe not as authentic as some other of UAD's emulations in terms of the late decay and analogue modelling of the drivers/pickups, but it's a very usable reverb and worth owning.

Amazing

I thought, "I'll give this reverb a shot". Normally I'm not a reverb kind of guy. Everything must be stonedead or have a little bit of echo on it. But this changes it all, I've been using this reverb not only on vocals (which makes them sit better in the mix), but also on various other stuff. It sounds all very good and sometimes makes things better. I"m really happy with this reverb. Thanks UAD.

Amazing

On first sight i was deep in love with the Lexicon Reverb who's really versatile, but as i'm mixing mostly Hop Hop music (Standart, discret 1-2s reverb) this EMT is just a MUST HAVE. Using it in 90% of my mixes. Amazing results on short verbs and a wonderfully beautiful tail on long ones.

EMT 140 Reverb Plate with class

This plug in has a special thing going! On almost everything this baby touches it brings that special wetness you need to bring your source to life, bring it out front, or wet it down. Of course it does magic for certain vox. It will give that classic reverb that you hear on countless hit songs you all love. The filtering section is very useful always. And all three plates sound good.

So Shiny

Sounds Beautiful, wanted it for years, now I finally got it. Doesn't sound good on all sources for me, but sometimes it just fits surprisingly well and creates a dreamy ambience.

My Go-TO Reverb

The EMT 250 quickly became my go-to reverb. I own other UAD reverbs including DreamVerb, RealVerb Pro, AMS RM16, Lexicon 224 and started out with a Waves convolution reverb. Not a bad one in the lot. However, the EMT 250 consistently delivers the quality of reverb to support the genera I generally record. That’s acoustic music – vocals, plucked, bowed and strummed strings, flutes, hand percussion – as well as symphonic productions. The EMT 250 delivers a sense of realism, clarity and depth within a control panel that provides a great range of parameter control. It’s very easy to set up and tweak. I also like the control offered by the UAD AMS RMX16, but it takes more effort to set up. Bottom line: 5+ stars for EMT 250.

Great Reverb!

Simple to use and great sounding!
The skeuomorphic design is awesome and helps you adjust with ease.
Especially great on electric guitars and vocals.
One of my favorite reverbs along Realverb and TSAR.

unobtrusive hall

I´m so happy with the EMT 140 cause it works so unobtrusive and smooth. I love it cause u don`t get problems with the mid frequencys so u don`t have to EQ this hall so much, that`s what I mean with unobtrusive.
lovin it

Killer Reverb!

Really easy to use controls and really good sound. Never had the chance to use a real plate, but the sound of the plugin seems to be instant recognizable as classic. The EQ and stereo-controls are really useful and it is nice to get the chance to add reverb, without having to look at frequency response curves and room-simulations.

Look no further!

For pure, lush tails and a density that adds a flattering thickness, look no further! I have several heavy hitting verbs, but since I got this, it has been on EVERY session, and is a beautiful compliment to the sounds I am getting from Hofa, Altiverb, and etc. But pure magic on vox!
What is amazing is when I use this in the Console app and get zero latency verb for my cans mix. Vocalists have been comenting and have been turning out more inspired tracking because of using the 250. I pick a preset and a couple minor tweaks later, I hear "that's perfect, let's roll." When my singer is felling the sense of space, AND immediacy, the results have been exciting.

Beyond worth it, seriously, thanks UA!

I'm very happy.

Until now it was using realverb and not get that quality with other brands or plugins. I had doubts whether to add another reverb would not buy the same as already had. EMT250 sounds wonderful, perfectly heard through a dense mix with muchs instruments, creates a natural amplitude without losing presence. Besides the delay, chorus and space are absolutely desirable in any situation. I'm very happy.

Awesome Reverb

This is one of the best reverbs out there, especially great for vocals, acoustic guitars, pianos and percussive sounds as well!!

I previously owned the Lexicon which is also amazing, but the EMT 140 adds something unique to your reverb collection!

my nr one verb

I use this verb more than any other. I love it on guitar! It can make a dead sounding guitar really back to life again.
But also on vocals and drums i use it a lot.
Wish a bought this one a couple of years earlier...

Love it so much, I bought it twice.

True story.

Had a UAD-2 Quad that I sold and I threw my plugins in as a bonus. When I remodelled the studio I jumped back into the UAD train and this was the very first plugin I bought back. Simply outstanding.

UA EMT Plates the Real Deal

I spent many days (years ago) at IAM studios in Irvine, CA when I got my first exposure to using EMT plates. Now that I have my Apollo 8P and the EMT plug-ins, I am taking a trip back in the. I can tell you that the realism of the UA EMT plates is spot on. The fact that I can automate the parameters in Pro Tools and Logic compared to the way we used to do it is fantastic. Listen to me everybody, we live in marvelous times where the average studio owner can do what only the top studios could afford to do!
