Oh mamma!
By far the best plate plug in I have ever used. Crisp and big and all that plate-style goodness you can't find in other reverbs. This plug in really opens up tracks and is phenomenal on almost all sound sources either as a specific reverb or an overall reverb for a session. I love the presets especially the blue plate and piano delight. Honestly the first time I mic'd up my Yamaha upright and ran it through the plate my jaw dropped, brightness and depth, piano delight is quite the fitting name. I also love just playing around with the plate, a little predelay on a snare signal and you could even give the boxer a run for its money. Much respect to universal audio for this work of dsp genius.

Fantastic Reverb!
Ive spent some time with a real 140, and the real thing is incredible. UA have done a terrific job emulating a real 140 plate reverb. This is my go-to reverb plugin for just about everything, and its really a must have for all UAD users. I cant think of anything wrong with this plugin, its perfect.

Great sound easy to use
I must admit, as a mixing engineer, I haven't really got that far. As music has merely become a hobby, I haven't had the time to work on these skills. This is why I can't be bothered to try to get a grasp on too difficult to use plugins. This is why I bought the EMT140: It doesn't only sound amazing but it is just so easy to use and get a great sound out of it which sits perfectly in the mix.

Such a complete reverb !
With EMT 140 I always find a way to place an instrument in the mix with a beautiful color , even if I use short reverb time or just a few for separating of others instruments.
The differents parameters - Eq , Balance, etc ... - you can regulate gives a lot of solutions ; the most difficult is to choose !
And , once more ( I could say : as usual ! ) the only fact to go through this plug-in gives to the instrument a subtle presence in the mix .

Lush and beautiful
This reverb is my go to for most things now..
Really musical and full sounding..
Can compare to the hardware but I can safely say it sound like a real plate reverb.
Thanks UA!

Another great plugin
Basically every UAD plugin I've tried I've really liked, and this one is no exception. Great sounding verb!

Excellent Plate Reverb!
After doing free 2-week trials for most of the ua plug-ins there were a handful that really stood out. This was the first plug-in that I purchased after the trial ended. For a great plate verb with a vintage feel, the EMT 140 is the best plug-in i've come across. I used it quite a bit on a new album for a band I play with called Science Fiction Theater. I'll leave a link below.

Huge Verb!
I have only had this one a few weeks now, so still playin with it. I have the 224 and the 250. This one adds quite a lot of color which I am tryin to get used to. It is with out a doubt a great verb and I think I will be using it in a huge way once I get accustomed to it's tonal differences. I am really hung up on the second plate very slick and greasy. Got to love it. B.A.

I use in every project
Throughout the creative way, I'm looking for comfortable and decent devices for signal processing. Today, the choice is quite huge and can get lost in this variety, but there are devices that have long proven themselves! Very happy that the team decided to put in UAD software emulation EMT ® 140 Classic Plate Reverberator. And who but they are able to do it as efficiently and truthfully. I do not know how it works, but my signal is transformed by the action of the plug-in. It retains all the harmonics and overtones and converts them into that tight and interesting in its tail. That's great. In my personal collection, I use in every project. Thank you

Wanted this amazing plugin for awhile now...
Classy, smooth, versatile, elegant and truly professional sounding. So easy to be used in a tasteful way. Brings things to life without the fuss. A terrific and affordable weapon and tribute to the past.

Brilliant plate
Must say that this one is still the king of plates. Fantastic sound:)

Smooth and reliable
The EMT-140 is a smooth reverb that makes it easy to dial in a lush vocal sound on slower or vintage sounding tracks. Nice for longer vocal or horn verbs. Try pairing it with a shorter reverb (on 2 different aux sends) to balance between ER and larger sense of space.

my dream reverb
This is the exact plate reverb sound I have been searching for. It works great on indie vocals. Great purchase!

Sweet Tail
I love the EMT 140 from UA. It had been on my wish list since I got on the platform. It's really good on both short and long tails. Between this and the spacier Lexicon, which I also have, I can cover most of my reverb needs. Sometime, I hope to pick up the Ocean Way for drums and room sounds, but the EMT 140 is great on vocals, snare, synth sounds, and as a catch-all send in my rock mixes.

Real sound!
Before having the EMT, I usually recorded the Plate of a studio when it was available. A / B between the UAD and a real EMT 240, and felt very close. After that I never went back to record the reverb to a track! Nice job on this one!
