Absolutely Lush
Really didn't think I needed a new reverb and quite honestly thought I had everything I needed...
Until I tried the EMT 140 demo, I was blown away at what I'd been missing all this time. Now I have it, it's used on every song I produce, absolutely love it! :)

Love this
I use way to much of this reverb. But then again can you use to much of it?

A verb above the rest
All the vocals we have recorded received were brought to to life with a breath of fresh EMT 140 reverb.
This is a necessary tool for your mixing arsenal. Even the Pro's will tell you its one of their go to reverbs. you won't regret this buy

Solid emulation of early plate systems
I really enjoy the sound of this plugin. I wish there was more indication of what parameter adjustments are doing (i.e. +/- dB changes, etc.) so you have to rely solely on your ears. Hey, that's what it's about anyway. You don't mix with your eyes.
As for the sound, it is about as close as modeling can get without being an actual piece of analog hardware.

The reverb I've been waiting for!
This is a special special reverb. This is one of the main reasons I decided to go the UAD route and I have absolutely no regrets. A lot of people don't realise that this plug has 3 plate models and with features like width and the eq one can do a lot more than just use it as a plate reverb. Long pre delay, width to 0, pan source one direction and the EMT the other to create a sense of space and movement. 0 pre delay, high modulation on strings can help push them back and give them depth and movement. Set decay time to minimum and you can emulate a room. Like I said the possibilities are endless and the way this thing sounds is unmatched!

Lives up to the hype
Clean, clear and crisp are adjectives I'd use to describe this reverb. It also seems to warm up the sound a bit... maybe that is the analog simulation going on - I wouldn't know since I've never used the real hardware.
Bottom line - a lot of people rave about the EMT 140 and now I can see why. Well worth the purchase.

EMT 140...more space.
This plugin gives "Exploring the room" a new meaning.

Classic
Been working on soul music and this verb gives you THE vibe. Trying to get the right sounding reverb for this application used to be a big hassle. Having the right tool for the job makes things quicker and much simpler! UA reverbs are great all around and can especially help when you're not able to record in a spacious room. Cheers!

Awesome classic plate reverb!
Way to go UA! You nailed the EMT140 plate very well. I love that classic plate sound and I find that back in your plugin. And I can use different versions and multiple instances with different settings as well. This reverb I use in all of my sessions and every time it makes me smile again. It's always my main reverb next to the UA Lexicon 224 and the UA EMT-250
This plate RoCkS!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Instant mojo, easy to dial in, my "go to" plate and usually my first "lets see what happens when I do this" when I'm needing a creative bump. LOVE IT, LOVE UAD

fabulous plates
I love this reverb. It's different to any other plugin that I've ever used for the effect. It sounds so realistic. I do a lot of acoustic guitar recording and it just sounds superb. Adds some real class to the sound that really doesn't sound like a plugin. Amazing.

Old Bloom
I activated the EMT140 and EMT250 demo and compared them. I bought the 140. They are totally different and i can see how people will like the 250 more, but for my kind of music (psychedelic-blues-rock) i have definately more use of this beauty. It sounds so damn right on everything. The voice gets enhanced by this very distinct reverb. I don't do pop. So maybe that is for the other plugin...

EMT 140 Plate Plugin
I just LOVE this plugin!!
The sound is beautiful and really suitable for anything! I use it in all my productions and is a reverb I advice to everyone to buy! Weather it's on a Voice, Guitars, Drums, Piano and even glitch synths it will make them sound beautifully!
One more time the UA guys managed to touch the perfection with this beauty!

used on every mix...
Not much else to say, it's my go to reverb. On vocals, it sounds amazing.
We have an EMT plate at our studio and this is damn close. :)

awesome plate!
this thing is incredible. i compared it to a plate that i recorded at my favorite studio and, with minor tweaking, was able to make it sound insanely similar. amazing!

EMT140
WOW, goes on anything and easy to blend without giving it the full treatment
adds so much to vocals and guitars, I even put a touch on the kick drum with a short decay to give some volume on the edges, one of my best plug ins to add depth and texture
