Doesn't work for me
I think it worked at first but since one of the updates it stopped working. And it sucks out all the power. It's huge!! When it worked it sounded great though.

Instant vibe
After considering getting into the UAD platform again, this one was a big part of the decision of doing just that. I use Bricasti, Lexicon and other native reverb plugins on a regular basis, but the EMT 140 has a flavour that is really unique and not currently available in the native market. Where other 'modern' reverbs tend to blend pretty anonymously into the mix, the 140 stands out and adds a beautiful and somewhat distinct sound to vocals, solo instruments and make mono sources sound huge. I've been able to come pretty close to existing 140 plates (hardware) in the same sessions with this plugin. That's pretty impressive! Now I just need an echo chamber. When are you doing the Capitol chambers..? :)

Beautiful Reverb!
I always wanted a plate and this plugin makes it possible. Beautiful is the best word to describe it!

EMT 140
I wanted the EMT 140 since my first demo... The EMT gives me a sound I really like that no other "plate reverb" plugin can do.

Beautiful Reverb
Kinda what everybody else has stated. Smooth, Versatile, great for Vocals, and the comments go on an on. Used in every mix. Enough said.

Any doubts get the EMT140 Reverb
This reverb has impressed me in every aspect of adding space to my audio mixes it sounds phenomenal and at a great price.

Excellent reverb!!
I recently purchased this plugin and so far, I've used it for vocals and acoustic guitar with excellent results. I tested both to insert the EMT 140 directly into the vox and guitar channels or, into a separate aux channel to which I sent various levels from the individual tracks. Using the latter approach gave me more flexibility and I was able to dial in exactly the amount of reverb I wanted and also, tweak the eq of the reverb. I have never used the hardware but this plugin surely delivers the best sounding reverb I've ever heard.

Put this in your template and leave it there
Hands down my favorite plugin reverb. I regularly get to use real plates and this has all the sonic beauty with the added bonus of reliability the real guys don't seem to have at times...

My go to reverb for vocals and snares
This is now my go to reverb for vocals and snares (as a mono plate sounds truly amazing on snare), I just cannot praise this thing highly enough. The three plate settings have suitably different character, the second one is extra juicy :)

I never knew how much I liked plate reverbs until...
Yeah, you get the idea. This baby oozes with vibe and has a way of making any source shine. Stays camped out on my sends. I'd give it more stars if I could!

The Best
By far the best plate reverb plugin ever made.

Fantastic Reverb
Between this plugin and the other EMT, I am able to get virtually all of the reverb sounds I need. My clients often comment on the space I create in the mix and say that I nailed the reverb effects, and I never really got those kinds of comments before I had these plugins. This and the other EMT now make up the vast majority of reverb plugins I use. Would recommend to anyone who makes any type of music.

Perfect for everything from A to Z...
The EMT140 not only affordable from UAD but its the first Reverb you truly should buy. Throw it on an Aux send to be able to control the amount of of blend on your vocals and be amazed and how it takes a Dry track to something that sound warm & amazing and nothing like your stock reverb plugins digital reverb sound. Universal Audio did an amazing job with this Emulation and its definitely one of my favourite plugins I've purchased to date!

Great Dark Plate
I haven't used a real EMT before but I have used other real plates and this sounds really good. Tons of options for decay and EQ and comes with some good presets for starting points.

Classy!
I tried many different reverbs for some tracks I was mixing with just piano and vocals for Boleros, this one just worked for the vocals, very easy to use, the free trial for this plugin just saved my mix! I'll definitely buy it in the future.

Main Reverb
When the mix is always the main reverb. You can use any track. Since the very beautiful natural there even be heard so as not to have been the effect. How also do not feel the stress simple. In terms of frequency of use is a plug-in among the best three.

Wonderful Sound
Reverb has always been one of those valued effects in recordings. Over the years, I learned to use this effect sparingly. The EMT140 when dropped on source material or acoustic material and properly used in the Auxes is really incredible. I appreciate some of the 60s musical recordings and dial in this guy with a nice clean electric guitar. The reverb just gives your mix a nice pleasant vibe. I understand why some people don't think much of it because plate reverb is not a effect with a lot of knobs. But that's the beauty. Simplicity and lush tones added to your mix.

Don't Waste Any More Time!!!
Bought this after seeing Scheps use it on lead vox track. Never used the original, but, as soon as I slapped an instance on a vox track, I immediately recognized the legendary sound, and it made my vox track sound legendary. They were full, wide, and had a sheen to them that I have not achieved with many other reverb plug ins!

Great sound.
And distinctive sound.
Even with the long decay-time makes a pretty luxurious effect.
