No Appollo DSP compatible

We are buying UAD professionnal sound card for a lot of money, but UAD doesn't listen to its customers and doesn't make DSP plugin to record with no latency in LUNA. I don't understand the strategy here. It's very disappointing to must play an UAD plugin in rival DAW (as Logic Pro and co) in order to play/record within a mix with a low latency mode. It sounds very good, but it's not a product for UAD faithful customers who have made the choice to invest in the UAD ecosystem. So disappointing.

How to sell a plugin without cannibalizing your pedal business

Lots of folks out here wondering why UA's Dream Verb and other Spark plugins don't take advantage of the Unison slot on their Apollos? Well, that's simple. That would be a zero latency solution and you should buy the equivalent UA guitar pedal for that. As long as us studio horses are supplementing their studios with four hundred peso pedals, a Spark enabled Unison plugin isn't going to make an appearance. I kind of admire the business acumen, but yeah, sucks for us.

No Unison?

I bought this plugin assuming it would be unison tech just like your past amp plugins.. The whole point of apollo is using the zero latency feature for tracking via unison slot... Update these!

Fender Twin Reverb sound for a song.

I don't often need the Fender Twin sound but, at the price UAD sells this SIM, It is a steal. And, ot sounds identical.

Just misses the Apollo or Unisson feature

Sounds amazingly well. Just doesn't make sense to implement it a native plugin (with latency) when you have a full size racked Apollo. Please update it (and the Ruby and Lion) with the Unisson feature or as an Apollo plugin at least

Dream of Unison version 65+

Fast and simple to use for decent guitar sounds. Easy to keep in the track for adjustments when mixing. There should be a Unison version included.

I finally bought the hardware version

Very good sounding plug-in. Unfortunately only native and not for Unison. I finally decided to buy the hardware version of the Dream 65.

Disappointed!

Unfortunately, it's a different league than Softube. The first plug-ins from UA, which for me are simply poor. The sound is plastic and lacks bite. On the other hand, you can play delicate phrases and it sounds quite nice.

My new favorite amp emulation

Love the clean tones I can get from this as well as the crunchy and crisp distortion! My new favorite amp emulation

Thanks UA!

For a long time I'm looking for a good enulation of an Fender amp. Without fear of exaggeration I can say that today UA won my heart, I can't let go of my guitar, the feel under my fingers is very addictive and realistic

good simulation but huge cpu consumption

unusable at low latency while recording, like other UAD amp simulations

Not for Apollo Unisson but no latency issue using Cubase

You may or may not like the sound of this plug-in, test it to check, and it would have been great if it had been compatible with Unisson but in any case, as far as latency is concerned, I play with this plug-in in Live without any latency with Cubase 13 or 14. Of course, the same applies to Lion and Ruby. And it works really well.

Great Sound

This is a good sounding plugin. I truly don't understand all these negative responds here. If it only runs natively, doens't make it a bad plugin. I got great sounds out of it. Even with my Cordoba stage guitar taken directly into it (and the plugin was not designed for nylon guitars). It perfectly suites my Fender Stratocaster. I think it's better on clean sounds than on distorted ones. But both are very fine. So thumbs up UAD!

Quality, but could be better

This plugin sounds pretty good, especially on clean tones. I haven't been able to get any good edge-of-breakup tones (yet); not sure if it's because I'm not tweaking right or because of the plug, but we'll see. It could be better, though. The gain structure is a bit weird with the Boost and the Volume knobs, and it's definitely un-intuitive to a producer. Also, it could be really awesome if we could mix and match the cabs and the mics - this is something that would have been so easy to do and is done by a lot of other amp sim makers, but is noticeably missing from this plugin. Last thing - I read a couple of review here that say that the plugin is very CPU-heavy; I didn't have that experience - maybe UA fixed it up by the time I downloaded. All-in-all, I'm happy with it. Finally, there's a (pretty) decent amp sim for clean tones.

Dream is the right name

Ran some of my previously recorded guitar tracks through the dream plugin and it TOTALLY gave me the sound I’d been looking for. Definitely worth the money!

Excellent plugin but No Apollo Version :(

The best Amp emulation i've ever tryied. But very disapointed because i needed that plugin to work with my Apollo. It is not CPU friendly at all....
