Near Perfect
I'm a long time 737 hardware user. This plug-in will be more than a welcome addition to your suite. Possibly the best channel strip plug-in I've ever used.

Simply Stunning and Remarkably Useful in a Roomful of Analog Gear
Wanted something simple to knock out hooks during the day without having to fire up my APIs, Vintechs, or Milleniums and I am very pleased with the clarity, detail, warmth and versatile compression in this Avalon. Truth be told, I think I may like the sound of the Avalon plugin a bit better than the physical preamp if you're not looking to makup gain or too much punch. It's a fine piece of outboard gear, and they really nailed the plugin. Give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed especially on strings, horns, vocals and other content that is particularly sensitive in the mids.

clarity and presence
I never had the pleasure of using the hardware version so can't compare ... but this plugin works some magic. I use it on vocal tracks, especially when singing harmonies. Bass and acoustic guitars are also coming out fresh and punchy ... tried it, bought it, love it!

Using the Avalon VT-737 Tube Channel Strip on different channels really finish my mix! I use it on the kick, the bass, rythmics and melody channels of my tracks. Amazing sound quality for the mix and easy to tweak!

A must have
From the Preamps to the EQ section, this is literally the best emulation of the hardware out there. The Compression is transparent, and the unit is really versatile, shining the most for Vocal Tracking and Mastering. Try it for yourself, and in a matter of time, you will put this in every track you possibly can.

Einfach genial
nicht nur Vocal klingen fett, ob Drums , Synths oder Bässe klingen wie sie klingen sollten. Gerade Bässe kann man schön tief und sanft aber nicht nervig erzeugen. Benutze den grundsätzlich für Hip Hop oder Drake Type Beats. Der Avalon kommt fast auf jedem Channel Strip in einsatz.

My favorite preamp
I had this actual unit years ago and I loved it then. I switched units trying to find a better sound but it was a big mistake. I was excited to see UA adding this plugin to their collection. It sounds as good as the actual unit.

Perfection and more
I work with the hardware version of the Avalon VT-737 and this is basically identical, if not better. I definitely use the x4 feature, it is an amazing addition! I recommend this plugin 100%, it makes my Yamaha MOTIF XF8 sound like perfection, I’m not satisfied with the stock piano sounds of the keyboard itself but when I tweak it with this, it becomes perfection.

A must have!
While selling my studio to go completely “portable”, the Avalon VT-737 was one of those pieces of gear I knew I would have greatly missed, and always put it on top of the list when UA was asking us users “what would you like us to emulate next”! And - as usual - UA didn’t disappoint me. An unbelievable “must have”!

Love The Avalon 737
Superb EQ, transparent compression, gives a high frequency glow. Does push things forward--used in modern mixes. Wonderful for Mastering.

The Avalon gives a very in your face sound. No wonder it’s used a lot in Hip Hop, great sounding pre, not for everyone but when you find the right artist for it you’l love it.

Nothing Like It At The Moment
this is one of the best plug in ever this is my first year with UA and i was talking on how bad as* will be if they come up with the VT-737 you guys have no idea how crazy I went about this and no disappointment at all well worth the money

I’m not Britney Spears
Believe it or not that statement is actually true. I’m not the vocalist on all my projects. So I only got a little time to play around with this plugin. And only the neve 1073 and the uad tube preamp to compare it to. So from the start it’s had it’s work cut out. I did try to drive it hard. But I didn’t seem to be able to achieve that. This is definitely a plugin I’m going to have to get used to then resubmit a review.
