Making music again.
When my previous audio interface died, I decided to try something new. I needed something with low noise world-class pre-amps. With the Unison technology and access the world-class plugins the UA Apollo was the the way to go! I'm making music again and that's the best thing about the Apollo.

Excellence in a small package
After coming from a FireWire digi002...this little piece of heaven was the best things I've purchased in the last 5 years. Excellent sound, great processing power, and an overall great buy. Highly recommended!

Life Changing !
The best

Believe the hype!
The mic preamp on this thing... wow. The realtime Unison plugins... wow. The Apollo Twin changed my recordings for the best, no longer do I have a delay when trying to monitor instruments with plugins, and... AND... somehow I'm able to reduce my sample size to 32 without any cracks or distortion in the same computer I had a 1200 dllr sound card, having to force it to over 1024 samples. Interesting. Well worth the money.

The best desktop audio interface
I've bought several audio interfaces through the years, but the Twin it's by far the best in the market for desktop applications. The Unison tecnology permits you to control plugins through your device and give you an analog recording feel; the AD/DA converter is pristine clear for an accurate listening of your mixes; expandibility with other apollos or different brands (up to 8 imputs controllable with Console software), all with the best support from UA. You can't go better than Apollo!

Perfect Solution for Professional Streaming (Games, Lectures, etc.)
Sincerely, the Apollo Twin MKII streamlined my previously tedious, routing-latent recording/streaming process. My computer no longer devours valuable CPU to polishing audio, and the Apollo replaces my outboard rig while providing exponentially superior results. Since I can save all of my settings using Console, I literally turn my computer on to find all of my settings loaded for my preamp, channel strip, and limiter. It can hardly get more "Plug-in-and-play" than this!
My only two suggestions:
* Set some money aside for plugins since there are usually massive deals just after registering your Apollo. You'll thank me! (and, yes, they are so worth it)
* Pick up the Duo or Quad. In my case, one heavily processed channel is sufficient, but I would need an upgrade to run two microphones with my present plugin configuration.

Great Product
The Apollo Twin Mkii has been a great product so far. It was easy to setup and register. I'm surprised at how solid the box feels. I already have the quad satellite, so this completes my system. I was waiting for the twin to be upgraded to the same converters as the blackface; and when they did I purchased it. I couldn't be happier. The sound is great. I've been going through old tracks and the difference is noticeable from my previous other-brand interface. The only issue I've found is that when I turn it on it registers as using 39% dsp without having any plugins or daws running. I found the quirky solution buried deep in a uaudio forum. Once I found the solution everything returned to normal. Maybe they will solve this issue in the next UAD software upgrade. Other than that the drivers, plugins, and product are rock solid.

best interface
i used apogee element, ensemblw fw, rme babyface pro. but my best is twin mk2.
especially, input line. that sounds like real analog. moreover, uad's plug-in platform is really great. and it gives me to a lot of inspiration.
also, mk2 got dim, high pass filter, talkbox , beautiful nobs, on the front. it's really useful things for recordintg section.

Awesome!
Super solid option for desktop monitor control and portable recording. Quad DSP with simple I/O facilities and a small footprint. Loving it so far!

Had a problem right out of the box
I received the unit and started using only the LEFT channel for a few days to test it out. Everything worked great. When I tried the RIGHT channel, there was a consistent 500Hz ringing in the channel at about -18db - very noticeable. So now I without a unit for about 3 weeks while contacting tech support for 4 hours, and then eventually sending it back to the retailer. I am still waiting for a replacement to arrive.

Very good sound, nice layout and perfect to have some more channels, DSP and functions to my Apollo 8 Quad.

This is my second Apollo. It sounds a lot better than the first generation Apollos. Perfect integration between them! I love talkback function!

Apollo Twin MkII enjoying the flexibility saving a lot of time through the mixes a bit underwhelming at times feel like I need more functions.
