Great deal!!!
Bought Apollo Quad core yesterday. Fantastic device! UAD processing, great pre's and additional 8 channels of I/O for my ProTools HDX rig via ADAT! Unison preamps sounds very natural and transparent. But additional thanks for Manley Massive Passive plugin!!! Just put it to my vocal track insert - and "O yeah! It sounds completely like a Manley!!" Even without any adjustments!

I have spend more than 4000€ between the UA plugs, the apollo quad and a 1176 UA in a year and I wanted to spend 10.000 more in 2015 in 4x1176 + an apollo16, and I won't....WHY???
I've had an issue with the apollo, 2 weeks of online diagnosis and 3 weeks of repair with the official dealer in france before having it back. The dealer send me the interface with the preamp button broken but claims that it is the transport fault so I can't do anything.
I've lost 26 full days of studio booked for a client (a bit more than 5500€), my apollo is unsalable under 1000€ in france.
Now I'm going to post the longer version in all the professionnal websites. And I loved UA before all that.
Just no luck but I can't recommand

Stunning sound quality
I finally took the plunge this weekend and upgraded from my previous perfectly good sound card (Native Instruments KA6) and I have to say that I am utterly stunned by the difference it has made - the sound is so open and clear.
I bought the Quad primarily to be able to use the UAD plug-ins and I was only expecting a slight improvement in sound quality from the sound card change. The difference is as big as when I bought a pair of Focal monitors
The UAD plug-ins are awesome as well - meaty/punchy compressors and creamy EQs and no nasty digital high end.
The big downside is that you run out of DSP quickly - if I'm paying $300 for a plug-in I want to be able to use as many instances a want but, on balance, 5 stars anyway!

Great interface, Prés and converters...
This interface is amazing...the console is perfect for recording with low lactency.
The Prés and converters are also great for professional work.
After tracking for more that one year with this i just want to say...Good job UA...

Always Moving Up!
As a Studio owner, my ethic has always been, "Keep moving Up".
I have never had "lawn sales" where I sell everything out of frustration,
only to later become inspired again and have to start buying all over again.
Instead I have kept buying better and better as my situation grew.
So! Universal Audio, in this case an Apollo Quad, is my latest move in an upward direction.
Quite a step! Add in as many of the plug-ins as I can manage at on time, And you have a quantum leap in audio sound quality, not to mention the integrity of the customer support team.
It's all Aces as far a I can see!
It will be very difficult to match the level of what they provide.
I just want more of it.

WAY BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS
My Apollo Quad packed with five UAD free plugs gave my mixes and vocal recordings a totally new perspective.
Never before have my mixes been so powerful yet so clear and polished thanks to the superior converters of my apollo quad and the colors and tones of the 1176 and Pultec passive eq WOW!
Wish as a Music Teacher/Pannist/Composer that I can get me a discount for a plate verb,Manley eq, Fairchild and a couple more plugs.l

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Apollo as a high quality audio interface.
It's transparent and dynamic clarity and well built unit says it all ;)

The best sounding audio interface
I am so pleased with my purchase .I have been using uad plugins since the beginning and had to chain my audio interface and choose the Apollo. I love no latency. Tracking and the updated plugs sounds so warm and really works ? La2A is my favorite, The console is straight forward. The only think I wish the Lexocon 224 had more output level

Already convinced two friends to buy uad.
I was super hesitant to spend this much money on an interface at first. However, when I received my Apollo, I instantly began running it through the paces... How the mic pres compared to my vintechs and classic API pres, how the converters were, what the big hype for the uad plugins was all about. The pres all were definitely in the ball park of each other, the Apollo seemed pretty transparent, the 573 were warmer with a bigger low end, and the vp28s were more aggressive in the upper mids and tighter in the low end. However, if you can't get a good sound with just the Apollo pres then you are doing something wrong. The converters are great and the plug ins are the raddest In the world. They KILL waves!!! Only downside is no MIDI.

Best audio interface
I have been anti-everything if it wasn't made by digidesign/avid I actually love this thing. Bought the twin apollo had if for about two weeks. It didn't have enough speed to keep up, but this quad is a beast haven't bought a mic-pre yet because I love the way the u-87 sounds. But I'm getting one anyway. Love this product

Apollo Quad
I love this little one rackspace powerhouse. The preamps are clean and clear, and can also get very colorful when run through the Unison plugins. The super low latency is what attracted me to the Apollo, and the plugins Universal Audio emulate are amazing. Whether performing live, recording, or mixing, the Apollo lets me stay in the creative realm with minimal distractions and superb tone!

Hi i have purchased an Apollo duo, few week ago, so far i've been using it and sound great!
I work in films scoring and advertising, and it is very friendly to use.
The conversor A/D are great and very clean!
But best of all, the UAD plug ins are exceptionally great.!

Fantastic
Unit sounds great. The I/O is ample enough on its own, let alone having expansion capabilities. I wish the console had more of an open matrix, but that could be added later, it would be great, but I'm already pretty happy.

Amazing Apollo
I have an Apollo Quad, which has transformed my studio, and thank you so much UA!! The Apollo replaced a rack of mixers, effects, prea-mps, compressors, and provides a significant boost to quality and capability. It takes less space and is far more transportable for ofsite recording couple with an ADAT Mic Pre, giving me 12 Mic pre's plus another 4 line inputs all up... not to mention all the incredible UA plug-ins that are available... JUST AMAZING!!!... and, no surprise here, I would highly recommend it it!!

Just Brilliant ...
I've had the Apollo quad w. thunderbolt for 3 weeks and it has not disapointed!
First I can't understand the many complaints about the monitor matrix.
Should you not check your needs before buying or just buy something else?!
Soundwise I now have a better stereo imaging compared to my old interface (MR 816csx). And just an overall better tighter sound.
I love tracking through LA610B, LA-2 and Neve Eq's. I have the hardware 6176 in line and wont say it sounds the same
but the plugin version works a charm and adds some nice character.
And adding tape echo and plate reverb to my HP monitor mix is just brilliant!
I mainly record live jazz and for this purpose it works and sounds brilliant.

Apollo Quad
It's the best money I spent in my life. The sound it's absolutely great, big, nothing like I ever had. You can hear absolutely everything, all the sounds you use in the creation process! It helps a lot with mixing and mastering and the plugins..... The best out there!!!!
