Depth and vibe!
I noticed a huge difference as soon as I replaced the Pultec Legacy (that I have used for years) for the new versions on my mix bus. It's night and day. So much better sounding and a 3d quality to my mixes. And it's just passing audio thru it. Should've got this sooner

You need this
I own multiple real 1176's, this plugin has no noticeable difference to me, it's perfect

Great EQ you have to listen to!!!
This EQ make your records sound unique by only putting it on the channel. But when you want to shape your sound, so you're able to do it just without concentrating on any graphs and parameters. All you should do is listen to it and this is the beauty of this plug-in.

Love the character/Color
This is obviously very versatile. Like the way i can push things hard or just soft. But i just love the character/color the LA-2A silver offers.
Thanks to UA for this amazing emulation.

V NICE
If you don't have the money for a real one..use these. Annndd even if you do...You now have an arsenal of 1176s at your disposal. The main vocal already has your analog blue stripe strapped across it but you still want to compress a guitar?? Want to tickle a bass a bit before you send it out to your LA2A? In a rush and want to just stay in the box? They sound almost as good as the real thing..and in some instances, are actually better for the job. Super easy, super fun, and super kicking sound! I'm still holding on to my analog all buttons in for drums though! although these do a great job on that too.

Bob-a-job
Never used a real hardware version, and had only previous experience with the legacy (which was still nice), and the Waves one.... But now I'm just even more confused what separates them and makes them all different.. they are nice though.

So far so good
I like Gray a lot, for tracking and for keeping things warm. Also it's really smooth. Silver is a bit more drastic and gives that natural brightness but I feel it takes away lows even if you apply 0 gain reduction, this can be beneficial for some instruments. I used it on the mix bus along with a Maxxbass and it worked just fine. Didn't really use the LA-2A(3rd one) a lot yet, so I can't say much for that one.
I bought this bundle because I wanted to upgrade my LA-2A classic and it feels I took the right choice, much fuller and characteristic sounds so far.

Although you may not believe.
Amazingly, Teletronix LA, has left me surprised at the quality, power, clarity, warmth and many others that if I mention this because not end my review, I did not know that a plugin could be as accurate compared to a real piece, imagine all the big bucks you can save with these emulators.
It is clear that only plug-ins Universal Audio admit they are the best and Realistic, have over 20 years experience in the industry as a producer and I have dealt with almost all plugins from different companies that may exist, and only Universal Audio me has given the results with ease, speed and great analog sound all go looking today to combat the digital herror.

UA's 1176...Now in Every Mix!
In the studio, when we’d in-line an 1176 in the mix, it was like adding another player in the band. A Good One! Now, thanks to UA, you can do it with your mouse. This is the emulation I’ve been waiting for. This is now my ITB 1176. The entire 1176 collection is spot on. If I need a “60s Vibe” I’ve got it. If I need that Spitin’ Hit Snare to raise some hair, I got it! Thanks Guys. This is a must have for me. - KEVIN GILROY

Possibly the best sounding plugin compressor
I have around 40 compressor plugin and several hardware compressors. This is possibly the best sounding plugin compressor around.
I love this thing, detailed full sound and deep sounding. The 670 is just awesome sounding on just about everything.
If you are thinking about buying, just get it !

amazing!
I put this in the shopping cart a few times but never pulled the trigger, thinking there are a ton of other eqs I have purchased that could get done what I need to get done and not spend even more money on another plugin, but this just does something to my kick drum that no other eqs or other pultec plugins do. It sounds so warm and fat and so analog like. Its just amazing and worth every penny! One of my favorites from the uad plugin lineup!

A Plus and ❤️❤️
These 1176 plugs are a valuable tool in my workspace. The applications are endless. Really , it's hard to listen to anything WITHOUT this plug. I wish I could take it out of the screen and hug it! ❤️❤️

Great for Kick, Snare and Vocal
No-one can get wrong with this tool. two knobs and attack and release for test. All you need to do is use your ears to judge how good it is. I loved how it gives presence on percussive material without losing bottom end. When I mix I don't like to worry too much and spend my time. I insert this and I'm happy. I have no experience with the analog 1176 but I loved this one. Yes great for vocal together with the Fairchild.

Dreamy, Creamy and Easy.
The EQP-1A always gets the most Spotlight out of these three plugins, and although its definitely one of the most flattering EQ's I have used. I feel that the MEQ needs to get special mention in this review. Most of the mixing difficulty comes from the Midrange. Terms like Boxy, Nasal, Muddy, Thick and strident all relate to a part of the mid range of the audio spectrum. So when it comes to these three EQ's, the EQP 1A sits on my master buss most of the time, but the MEQ tends to be one of the first options to deal with problematic midrange issues. Specifically with guitars and backing vocals.
The learning curve of the EQP1A took me a little while for it to become second nature, but once there all three of these became indispensable tools.
