Sculpter le son!
Le plugin que j'utilise le plus sur mon projet actuel! Vraiment efficace pour "sculpter" le son de la grosse caisse ou de la caisse claire. Je l'utilise même sur une prise guitare. On obtient facilement un son plaisant, soit feutré ou plus cissailé, juste en tournant quelques potards, pas la peine d'avoir une formation d'ingénieur du son pour obtenir un résultat aux petits oignons ;)

Real or not...?
Can barely tell the difference between the tone of this and the original low serial LA-2A that Ive had for years. I'll always love the hardware, but now I can run as many as I need on a session!
The only downside is these plugins don't quite seem to have the 'sweet spot' that an original LA-2A has, when you hit the right spot and the tone just jumps out catches your ears.

In a different league
I've tried many emulations over the years, but nothing comes close to this! The 1176 is arguably one of the most versatile compressors and I use this on must about everything.

I've yet to find something this doesn't sound great on. It's totally different to any other emulations I've tried and I'm seeing why most pros swear by UA equipment.

Gave up my hardware.
I was so impressed with the UAD LA2A collection that I sold my hardware unit (Wa2a). The quality, channel count, and work flow is what sold me. I do somewhat miss having physical knobs to turn but for the mobility and quality it just makes sense to have a great ITB option. Love it!

Simple d'utilisation et très efficace.
J'ai acheté ce plug après l'avoir utilisé des dizaines de fois en version legacy.
Le plus est sa simplicité d'utilisation.
Je l'utilise beaucoup sur des synthés (surtout sur les nappes de synthé) et le résultat est au rendez-vous.
Je peux l'utiliser également sur d'autres instruments (TOM de batterie par exemple) couplés avec le 1176, le duo est vraiment saisissant.
Ayant la version Legacy, j'ai beaucoup hésité mais je ne suis vraiment pas déçu de cet achat.

A Must Have!!!
I already had the LA-2A and was looking for something to compliment that. This and the Fairchild were on the short list- so I got both. I pretty much have a Limiter for any situation now- which is what I was aiming for. I mix and match Limiters on different tracks to get that perfect sound. I'm still experimenting after a few months which ones work best on what instrument or track- but that's part of the fun. Great purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Just What I Needed!
I needed a stereo Limiter and this was one of the ones most recommended. After a lot of research I went with this one. I couldn't be happier with the decision. I find myself using this on all types of tracks and situations, including my mastering chain. Great purchase. I recommend it to others as well that are looking for a stereo Limiter!

Great EQ For Your Collection
I debated a lot about the upgrade but decided to take the leap after doing a lot of research. I am really glad that I purchased the upgrade from the legacy version. I've been using this for a few months now and I find myself placing this on so many tracks to add that something special. It makes the tracks sound bigger if I could describe it. No regrets here.

Pultec Passive EQ Collection
When I first look a look at the Pultec EQs I thought how is it possible that such a simple , low-tech looking piece of plugin gear could be on so many "must have" lists. Especially today when there are so many hi-tech looking EQ plugins out there. Dang was I surprised. Just inserting the Pultec into my track was like sprinkling magic fairy dust on the track. The thing is, it doesn't jump out at you like vegas lights or anything like that. It's just a smooth, subtle but very cool color that it imparts that just says "pro." And it's ridiculously easy to use. Thanks UAD!!! You made my mixing life easier :)

The best pultec plug ever created. Simply magic, fast and always right.
