Add Thickness and Width to Anything
Just like the vintage hardware, use Studio D Chorus' push buttons in any combination for a colorful palette of subtle thickening. Engage all four buttons at once and you get a beautiful chewy modulation texture that works on any instrument.
Create Movement and Interest
Make simple guitar/vocal arrangements sound deeper and more interesting, or quickly gel groups of strings and vocals — without compression, EQ, or reverb. For floating guitar textures and synth pads, the Studio D Chorus plug‑in simply can’t be beat.
“The Studio D Chorus plug-in excels at adding analog-style chorus effects to my mixes, ranging from subtle widening to full-blown psychedelic, super-wide washy chorusing.”
– Richard Chycki (Rush, Aerosmith, Dream Theater)“The UAD Studio D Chorus plug-in is a wonderful tool. It can add additional layers to the stereo image of synths or background vocals. It makes your music feel multidimensional.”
– Ivan Barias (Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, Estelle)“My presets for the Studio D plug-in are so good, I actually use them myself.”
– Joe Chiccarelli (Jason Mraz, Beck, The Strokes, Morrissey)“I used the original hardware on so many of the Culture Club tracks in the ’80s, it became part of their signature sound. ”
– Steve Levine (Culture Club, Beach Boys, Honeyz)“The UAD Studio D Chorus made my outboard unit obsolete, but it still looks great in my rack.”
– Ken Lewis (Drake, Bruno Mars, Jay-Z)*The Studio D Chorus product is not affiliated with, sponsored, nor endorsed by Roland. The Roland name, as well as the Dimension D model name is used solely to identify the classic effects emulated by Universal Audio's product.Customer Reviews

Great plug , but difficult visibility of buttons.
Love this plug in, use it all the time on Synths, Epiano, Guitars, and Bass.
I realize it strives for visual authenticity of the hardware (which I used to own...).
However, contrast of button status is really difficult to see on some displays and impedes workflow. Particularly the "stereo/mono" button.
Tool tip hover of "button on" status, or perhaps a subtle lighted indicator on buttons, or more obvious shading is needed.
Even the product's promo Video splash page shows a much better GUI that's different from actual plug.T. Glosser

It does what it's supposed to do!
Another vendor gave me this plugin for free, but it was not good. I can always count on UA to produce a nice plugin! And I got it at great price with a UA coupon!

Studio D Chorus for the WIN!!!!!
Been searching for a chorus to use in sidechaining for bass to help with creating a wider bass effect and this does the job really good.

Good Choice
This was a good choice for me. It does what I wanted it to do. Mostly used subtely on acustic guitar but nails the job every time.

It’s okay
Wish there was a mix knob

Super nice
Not really a chorus but more of a doubler/widener feel. Chorus always hits me as a little flangie, but this is smooth. Love it when needed, like on a vocal that needs some body.

whats not to love
It does what it does exactly as its suppose to. Adds dimension, depth and width. Not perfect for everything, but amazing when it works. Very subtle. If you not liking it on the source, try it on a send.
