    Ocean Way Studios - Home Studio Recording Acoustic Guitars

    Not intense reverb effect, but I don't think that is main purpose. Gave a nice room sound to thicken up acoustics. My main acoustic guitar mics are a WA-47 tube LDC, Shure SM81 or Byerdynamic M160 double-ribbon mic. When re-micing, it sounded nicer than expected. I expected it to be a bit muddy but they actually sounded fuller. The rooms sounded nice once I got over the "reverb mindset" and used strategically they helped my acoustics sit it the mix well

    It just doesn’t get better than this.

    I purchased the Ocean Way Studio plugin on sale for $49. I’ve been wanting this for quite sometime. If you can find it on sale or in a bundle GET IT! I saw Ryan Tedder rave about using it during his Masterclass on Studio.com. It’s just amazing on literally everything. Don’t hesitate to add this to your collection you will not be disappointed!

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorization of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
