    Overall feel

    I love getting into Luna. I come from years of working with ableton live. Still getting a bit of getting used to working with Luna but being able to get most of the shortcuts from live is a big deal and I appreciate it. Love having tape and Channelstrips as well as summing instantly in Luna.

    Don't appreciate having to buy so many plugins after:

    - purchasing an Apollo x8 studio bundle

    - purchasing the complete 3 bundle

    But still not having access to the entire bandwidth of uad plugins. Would like to have access to everything that has been released and what is about to come. It should be included if you ask me.

    Spending way over 5500€ is really not little.

    Luna experience

    Well. It was with great expectation we installed Luna. It isnthe first ever audio recording we Touch. First time installed & it was with some bug it was actually poping a Windows saying that. We deinstalled & deinstalled it again.

    Same thing. At start the program a new smaller Windows pops out Say some controllers are missing.

    We just want to do The very basics.

    Open Luna.

    Import an instrumental

    Record Voice in another track.

    Sometimes teb programa freezes.

    A lot of The Times crashes.

    Most of The Times The menu for Play, Record, pause etc dissapears.

    Also have prepared tracks to Record & When i go Back & reopen doesnt let me do anything.

    Só it has been frustrating.

    Just wanted to Record some cover to post on Instagram and havent been able to do One.

    Thats it.

    Unusable

    This is the clunkiest, buggiest DAW I have ever used. Actually, I haven't even used it because it's such a mind-f to try to use. I'm so pissed that I bought the Pro package during a sale. Should have tried the free version first.

    Serious buyers remorse. The fact that UA doesn't allow returns or refunds sucks.

No UA hardware of any kind is required. LUNA runs natively on your computer.

LUNA runs on supported macOS and Windows systems. See our LUNA system requirements article for full system requirements. An iLok account is required for managing LUNA licenses. We support iLok USB keys for portability, but one is not required.

While an iLok.com account is required, LUNA is authorized to your computer. No need to be online or buy a dongle to get started. Don’t worry, if you don’t have an iLok account, we’ll create one for you during the signup process.
