With three uniquely different EMT units modeled at The Plant Studios in Sausalito, California — the EMT 140 plug-in will infuse your sources with the unmistakable warmth and beauty of an iconic ambience unit.

Plates A and B model the original EMT electronics system, for which the plates themselves had intentionally not been tuned in some time. Conversely, Plate C — the most full-frequency plate — uses the more modern Martech electronics which had just been fully serviced.

Enjoy Added Flexibility for All your Sources

WIth “plug-in only” features such as Balance, Width, and Modulation, you can harness the EMT 140 in ways previously unavailable with the hardware. Pinpoint a mono snare reverb with the Balance control, spread out strings with the Width function, or use the Modulation feature to add a subtle shimmer or intense reverb tail to a lead vocal. By adding these controls to the original EMT circuit, you’re afforded tons of plate reverb textures for all of your sources.

    I'D GIVE IT 10 STARS IF I COULD!

    WITH SO MANY DIFFERENT PLATE REVERB PLUGINS AVAILABLE I WAS HESITANT TO PICK THIS ONE UP BUT WOW, THIS IS A MUST HAVE! IT HAS REPLACED MOST OF THE OTHER REVERBS. GO TO THE "VOX A" OR "VOCAL A" PRESET FOR YOUR VOCALS, YOU'LL THANK ME LATER!

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorization of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
