One of my favorites
I've read somewhere that Oxide is a simplified version of the Studer Tape plugin, with an inbuilt set of adjustments. DOn't know if it's true or not, but it sounds very different out of the box, and you'd struggle to get Studer to match the sound of Oxide by tweaking its individually adjusted parameters.
Oxide sounds great, it's refreshingly easy to use, and if you want that particular tape profile - which is great, round and warm, but clean at the same time - without having to wrestle to make Studer sound similar - I haven't succeeded, but I haven't tried too much, to be honest - it's definitely a good addition to the tape collection, especially since the price is not one you're gonna feel sorry about.J. Secret Weapon
Did not know what to expect when I got this plugin because I haven't seen many people use it much in tutorials but when I placed it on my master chain, I felt the warmth and added volume I was looking for without pushing my levels too high.

"Oxide" your tracks!
I never expected that this type of tape saturation would give so much character, quality and also presence to the instruments respectively and clearly depending on how it was recorded and what is used.
With a few movements and depending on the results it shows, it is perfect to give it that "Presence" that we all seek quickly and to be as neutral as possible, although the latter one must "witness" it properly to understand it, at least in my opinion.
